Goku (Kaioken)

After Goku dies and is taken to Other World by Earth's Guardian, Kami, King Yemma tells Goku to take Snake Way to the planet of King Kai for additional training to defeat the Saiyans. When Goku finally makes it to King Kai's Planet, he mistakes King Kai's monkey, Bubbles, for the King himself, and he follows the monkey's actions until he meets the real King Kai. He is given ridiculous challenges before he starts his training, including having to tell King Kai a joke, catching Bubbles, and smashing his pet cricket, Gregory, on the head with a heavy hammer. Due to the planet's higher gravity, which is 10x that of Earth's, Goku struggles with the challenges, but eventually completes them. After that, Goku masters several new techniques and increases his strength considerably. His friends on Earth manage to wish him back to life using the seven Dragon Balls, but, due to a miscalculation on King Kai's part (he forgot to take into account the time it would take to get back) he still must travel back down Snake Way, which King Kai estimates will take about two days at Goku's current power level in order to reach Earth and join the battle against the Saiyans, which was already underway and going badly for the Z Fighters.

By the time Goku arrives, Yamcha had been killed by a Saibaman, Chiaotzu had self-destructed in a failed attempt to kill Nappa, Tien Shinhan had killed himself by putting all his strength into a final but futile Spirit Tri-Beam, and Piccolo had sacrificed himself to save Gohan from a powerful attack launched by Nappa, which inadvertently killed Kami as well.

Flying Nimbus - A mystic yellow cloud. Originally a gift from Master Roshi, after it was destroyed by Tambourine, Goku received a replacement from Korin, who created them. It is a blazingly fast cloud that can carry its traveler wherever the rider wishes and also be summoned from seemingly anywhere on Earth. However, the cloud will only carry those voids of any negative thoughts. All others will instantly pass through it like any cloud.

Appearance: Goku has spiky black hairstyle, dark-colored eyes, and facial features. He has soft eyes, a kind demeanor, and a lighter-pale skin complexion. Goku's most distinguishing physical characteristic is his hair. He has three bangs hanging to the right of his forehead and two bangs hanging to the left. His hair also stands up in the front with four spikes and three bangs in the back. Goku was born with the signature tail of the Universe 7 Saiyans, which was long and prehensile with brown fur. It was removed and regrown multiple times in his early childhood, but in his late teens, Goku's tail was permanently removed by Kami in order to prevent his Great Ape transformation. Goku wears the basic Turtle School Uniform, consisting of a closed orange gi secured by a black knot-tied obi over his waist, blue wristbands, and blue kung fu shoes, with Roshi's kanji on the back and front-left side of his shirt. After training with Kami and Mr. Popo, Goku wore a black short-sleeved undershirt (later dark blue) with this gi and replaced his shoes with dark blue boots with a yellow border and red laces.

Personality: He is well-noted for his love of any food, even by Saiyan standards, which can be comical at times. Goku is pure of heart, possessing no negative feelings or thoughts. He is highly loyal to his friends and family and is extremely protective of them as a result. Goku has been noted several times to have a special effect on people. His genuine compassion for others and love of life in its most simple nature is capable of inspiring them to change somewhat for the better, even causing several of his enemies to become his allies. Once a fight begins, he desires to see it through to the end to truly determine who is the winner.

His power level is currently 8,000. Kaio-ken makes it 16,000. Kaio-ken x3 makes it 24,000. Kaio-ken x4 makes it 32,000. He doesn’t know what a Super Saiyan is.

Abilities: Kamehameha - Goku's signature move since obtaining it. It unleashes a powerful and long-stretching blue energy blast from his cupped hands.

Kaio-ken - Kaio-ken is a technique invented by King Kai. It multiplies the user's ki for a "heartbeat" and turns their aura crimson - amplifying their power and speed to overcome previously stronger foes at the cost of extreme bodily recoil. Strong ki control is required in order to wield the Kaio-ken properly. Goku can also go Kaio-ken x3 and Kaio-ken x4.

Kaio-ken Finish - First, Goku charges at the opponent and kicks them up into the air. Then, he flies up after the opponent and double axe-handle punches them down to the ground. Next, he powers up to his Kaio-ken technique as he charges down at the opponent and double-punches them in their back. Finally, Goku quickly lands on the ground and catches the opponent on their back before throwing them onto the ground, inflicting a great deal of damage.

Kaio-ken Kamehameha - Goku activates the Kaio-ken technique and uses the Kamehameha, inflicting extreme damage depending on what Kaio-ken level he is using for the attack.

Spirit Bomb - Essentially, to use the Spirit Bomb, one must have a pure heart so they can manipulate and gather energy, otherwise the move can backfire and possibly hurt or kill the user. They then throw this ball of energy. Likewise, once a Spirit Bomb has been fired, it is possible for one with a pure heart to deflect the technique, as Goku clarifies to Gohan and Krillin.
