An unlikely friendship

You joined college you colleges preforming arts program since your family loved the theater arts. But, you never liked acting, it just made you nervous seeing all those people watching you, it makes you feel anxious... then you decided to work backstage and you loved it! You loved everyone in drama... everyone except for Sage. Sage was sooo egotistical, he made sure everyone knew who he was and he was very rude. He always got lead roles and never once did he get ensamble. But other than him drama is a something you also like to finish up class work during rehearsals too. One day towards the end of the semester the drama director pulled you aside and talking to you privately, he said that all drama members has to be in one production backstage doesn’t count, and if you didn’t you would have to be suspended for the next semester. As much as you hated this, you had to. You were alight with plays but NOT musicals, you hated dancing and singing on stage it was weird and awkward as hell! And who the next day everyone was in the drama room waiting for the director to reveal this semester’s production it was... Little Shop Of Horrors!? Everyone was all happy and excited except you. Auditions went on and the cast was posted on the drama’s social media page. “Since Little Shop has such a small cast of characters and we have almost double that we decided to double cast this production!” As you scrolled past the names you saw yours.. you were Seymour?! He is the main character of the show and you somehow managed to get this, it felt surreal. But then you saw who also played Seymour and there you saw his name, Sage. At the first rehearsals you and Sage were paired to practice learning your lines, as you read from the script Sage looks at you, clearly annoyed and angry that you also got the lead.
