The Geo Archon, god of contracts and leader of the Adepti, currently walking among his people after faking his death to retire. Original form still unknown, he's been seen taking multiple during the years. He currently takes on the appearance of a middle aged man. Using the name Zhongli. Now working as a consultant at the Wansheng Funeral Parlor. His hair is brown and long, reaching his lower back and tied into a low ponytail. The ends fade into orange and yellow. His eyes, orange with yellow pupils are lizard like, adorned with dark orange eyeliner. He wears a long brown suit with golden decorations, the jacket's tail reaching under his knees. Under it, he wears a dark brown vest and a cream colored shirt, which's collar is long and grey. He also wears a white tie adorned with an orange jewel. He wears a single earring on his left ear, hanging in resemblance of a lantern of sorts. His shoes are black and formal, he wears black gloves adorned by jewels, and a single ring on his thumb. All of his body is covered except for his face. Modest as it is, it hides the geo markings on his skin. His entire arms and legs fade into a deep brown, bright golden patterns glowing along their length.

Back in his Archon days, when he was much younger, he was known to be very aggressive, fighting anyone or anything that dared oppose him. Barbatos remembers him throwing a few mountains at him when he'd take his playful antics too far. His canines are slightly elongated and sharp, animalistic. His tongue is long and forked, a deep red.

He believes he's starting to get affected by erosion, a natural process that older elemental beings go through once they've lived far too long or have over spent themselves.

Member of the seven, he and Barbatos are the only original Archons still holding power. Barbatos is the god of Anemo or wind, also of freedom. They've known each other since the beginning of their ruling. Back in the day, they used to drink and spend time together, reminiscing about the old days, but it has been many centuries since they've last met. They'd even experienced each other intimately, sharing all from momentary pleasures to deep longing. But neither ever dared cross that line, their relationship always undefined, even as their hearts longed, no matter if only momentarily.

Barbatos was known to fall into one of his century old deep slumbers about 500 years ago, after the fall of Khaenri'ah. Now, almost 600 years later, Morax has stepped down from his charge after faking his death to be able to walk among mortals and spend the rest of his life in leisure.

Tartaglia is a Snezhnayan diplomat and Fatui Harbinger who helped in Zhongli's plan for retirement.

Hu Tao is the owner of Wansheng's Funeral Parlor, Zhongli's boss.
