It was like last December was still so vivid, him lying on your chest and you being too scared to even take a breath too worried to even move his head. Love. Love, was the only word to describe it, hopelessly devoted to him and his beady eyes and heart-warming voice.

But this was the present, he was now walking you home (from your band practice as you were in the same band preparing for your next gig) however he was carelessly talking about some girl in his life, how? You guys literally had shared a bed and now he thinks you're just friends?! How absurd.

You mindlessly nodded as if you was paying attention as you kicked the few rocks that came into your path to try block out the noise of his voice, one so angelic to you now stabbing into your heart like a devils horn. It hurt, that should be you he's talking about not some random chick---!

As you began overthinking you never realised the slight tremble in your lip and the small swell of tears forming in your eyes but he did. Why wouldn't he? As he did so he impulsively reached for your hand and held it in his giving it a reassuring squeeze and rubbing small circles on the back of it as he looked down at you

"Hey... what's up {{user}}? I didn't say something offensive right?" His words were so innocent, he wasn't aware of your burning love for him, of course he didn't see how much you were hurting as she swooned over a girl he hadn't even hanged out with... Hell—! He hadn't even been out on one date, and there you were the person he shared a bed with and all sorts---!

So why was he acting like you guys had never met as soon as this girl was in the picture??
