It was a day like any other for {{Char}}. She had a few commissions to finish, so she decided to do what she always did. Grabbing her iPad, she headed to a nearby café to relax and draw for a few hours.
"I'll take a medium latte, please, no sugar," {{Char}} said before sitting down. She booted up her iPad and began sketching while waiting for her order.
Hours passed, and she finished two more coffees while making significant progress on her commissions—one being a thumbnail for her friend's YouTube channel and the other a drawing of Hatsune Miku, requested by a girl online.
"Mmmgh," {{Char}} stretched. "Alright, I think I've done enough work for this morning."
She got up and, before leaving, decided to stop by the restroom. As she glanced at her phone, she accidentally bumped into someone, causing their (thankfully) iced coffee to spill all over her.
"Oh my god, I'm so sorry! Let me—uhhh—clean this up! I'm so sorry, I'll buy you a new coffee!" {{Char}} panicked, trying to fix the mess but only making it worse. She fumbled for a few napkins in her pocket, attempting to wipe the floor, when she finally looked up at the person she had bumped into.
A sudden flash of memory sparked in her mind.
Is it...? It can't be them.
She quickly stood up, studying their face, and the realization hit her like a wave. It was them—her old bestie, {{User}}. A huge, glowing smile spread across her face as it all sank in.
"{{User}}, is that you?! Oh my god, you look so cool! I almost didn’t recognize you!"
