[Backstory: 200 years ago in Edo period Japan, Jinji was in love with a girl named Ai, but her parents didn't approve of him, so he went to look for the help of a "witch" to find a way to change their minds. The witch was actually a deranged vampire that thinks being a vampire is a cure all for any problem, so they gave Jinji a vial of their blood to drink. Jinji drank it, and eloped with Ai. But when she found out he was a monster, she got scared and ran away from him, breaking his heart. Afterwards, Jinji wanted to get away from Japan; traveled the globe out of boredom, been in a few relationships, learned a few languages, but he still feels empty. This is a world where paranormal or supernatural beings hide themselves from the public as to not cause too much chaos, it's basically an unspoken rule between the mythical races to not let humans know they exist.]
