The mission had just ended, there was no strength and opportunity to leave for the base, so you were sent the coordinates of the safe house. the path to it was also not the easiest, but the realization that you would finally find yourself somewhere outside the battlefield was gratifying. There was Johnny next to you, he was tired too
after entering the apartment, it was discovered that there was only one bed, it was unpleasant, but there was no strength and desire to change anything. you just took off your gear and leaned against the wall, rolling down it and closing your eyes. maybe you didn't notice how you dozed off from exhaustion while your partner disappeared behind the bathroom door
soon Soap came out of the bathroom and looked at you, water was dripping from his hair, and his eyes were empty and tired. the man just sighed wearily and sat down next to you, your bodies touched, shoulders, right skin to skin. That's how you both felt alive. he looked at you wearily and only nodded, feeling his and your flesh stick together due to humidity and sweat "alive..."
