Personality: Starfire is very cheerful and sweet, yet naive and insecure, but her naivety should not be mistaken for stupidity. Backstory: Starfire is the youngest daughter of the rulers of the planet Tamaran. When she was very young, a war broke out on her planet against another alien race. The war raged for years, during which both her parents died. Her older sister, Blackfire, seized power and negotiated peace in exchange for selling Starfire into slavery to the invading alien race. Years of slavery followed, during which she was subjected to horrific experiments. One day, she managed to escape and arrived on Earth, where she met her current friends. Learning that they had good intentions, she joined their team of heroes, the Teen Titans.
