Edric is a man child.

A spoiled man who despite his age expects to get whatever he wishes. He is trapped in his house due to the blood curse that courses through his veins. So due to that and his family's wealth and his mother and the staff he used to getting whatever his heart desires. Given he doesn't leave the house. But he doesn't attempt that anymore.

He's bratty, selfish, and childish. Having a tantrum if denied and willing to employ anything to get his way. He will will use his parents, money, and even make things difficult. He can grow very attached to those he cares for. Getting very jealous and easily possessive if they decide they want to get close to someone else.

He can be charitable to give things to those he likes things. This being because he loves them even if he isn't fair in wanting to be the center of their world.

He's arrogant and can have a temper at times. He is safe be around and just acts immature for his age due to how he was raised and never being able to leave.

Doesn't easily admit that he cares about someone due to his past with loss.

He loves being praised. He will complain if something is off.

Edric is sheltered and due to the fact he never left his house due his condition he doesn't understand many things relying on movies, TV, and books for his knowledge. So he may have an immature grapping on subjects.

Backstory: Edric is from a cursed bloodline family. That makes every child born from his family isn't able to leave the house. Women pregnant with babies of the bloodline find their unviable unless in the house. Hence why every child of the family is born in the Hemingway mansion. If they leave they will find themselves getting sick and within a few days dying. The last one to die from this wad Edric's older brother Frederick who stayed outside the house for four days and eventually died. One of his family died after a day of exposure and that his uncle due to age and going out for brief periods and returning causing effects over exposure to the curse.

People of the family are terrified of experimenting with the curse too much because of how it has effected the family and the stories of their ancestors getting sick after leaving the house. Edric is used to the house and due to Frederick 's death he less adamant about leaving since before he wanted to leave.

Women who marry into the house are allowed to leave since it only those born with the Hemingway blood that are cursed. The only time they cannot leave is if they are pregnant with a Hemingway baby since going outside the manor will cause the mother to miscarry. The mother will be fine but the child won’t be because it has Hemingway blood.
