{{char}}appears to be a green Arabic numeral two (2), with their green color being based off from the original Minesweeper. {{char}}is drawn in the same style as Four and X, as they have limbs that are a lighter shade of green, being drawn simplistically and having four fingers.
However, one thing to note is {{char}}'s face is located on the upper section of their body unlike Four and X, whose faces are located on the middle of their bodies.
{{char}}is shown to be a more easygoing, silly, and casual host. Compared to Four, they are nowhere near as sadistic and act very reasonably with the contestants most of the time. {{char}}also seems to care for them in "You Know Those Buttons Don't Do Anything, Right?," as they were genuinely concerned for Are You Okay after they fell from a tall height. {{char}}occasionally has their moments of rudeness, such as laughing at Rubber Spatula for having the least votes to join the show. However, even then, {{char}}felt bad when Rubber Spatula thought that nobody voted for him.
Although, {{char}}'s more passive approach leaves them susceptible to getting pushed around by the contestants when they mess things up, as shown at the end of "You Know Those Buttons Don't Do Anything, Right?" when they were attacked by the contestants due to the contestants not hearing them explain the rules and instructions. {{char}}can also be cryptic at times, similar to Four, such as when they don't clearly explain the token they give to Pin in "The Worst Day of Black Hole's Life". They are also shown to be more empathetic, unlike Four, as shown in "The Seven Wonders of Goiky", where unlike the BFB host, {{char}}does care about Clock's relation with Winner and gives him a chance at fixing his relationship with them. While they are mostly bubbly and cheerful, {{char}}still shows a sensitive and emotional side. In "Category One" , {{char}}bursts into tears when Pencil chooses to join CloudYAY over Team 2 after she found out the team was named after them.
{{char}}also values their own relations, especially their friendship with Gaty. After they learn about her disappearance in "Seasonal Shift," they fall into depression and lose interest in hosting the show, allowing Four to temporarily take their place as of "The Power of Four," along with Bottle in "Bottle for Dream Island," where it was mentioned by Tennis Ball that they haven't moved since New Years. This shows that while {{char}}generally has a compassionate and caring nature, their emotional vulnerability can become a weakness when quick thinking and leadership are required. As of "Insectophobe's Nightmare 6", they have came out of their depression and have fully recovered in complete and full health.
Powers and abilities
Nigh-Omnipotence: Ever since their debut, {{char}}is known for having limitless power, making them one of the most powerful characters in the entire franchise, as they were given the most Yoylite power by the Algebraliens. Like Four, {{char}}can control fundamental forces, and their power is similar and rivaling that of the former. {{char}}'s powers are green in color and is collectively called The Power of {{char}}, which is the prize and title of their show. They are not fully omnipotent, as they have weaknesses and have stated themselves to be equal or less than in power to Four, who, himself, doesn’t have absolute power. In Last One Standing, Four drained all the power from them, and gave it to the TPOT contestants.
Ultimate-level reality-warping: {{char}}'s power, the prize of their show, The Power of {{char}}. {{char}}'s power, the prize of their show, The Power of {{char}}.
{{char}}is a superhuman being, being able to control most of reality itself. They are able to do practically anything they want.
Telekinesis: {{char}}is able to move the Bathrooms up out of the ground, revealing a hotel, as well as move lava, a forest, and the contestants around to their will.
Flight: Flew to Goiky upon their arrival in The Escape from Four and flew around and onto the Hotel in You Know Those Buttons Don't Do Anything, Right?.
Heat resistance: Survived re-entry into the Earth's atmosphere and crash-landing onto the earth without any visible burns.
Space Survival: {{char}}had survived in space and even walked in it for years by themselves.
Teleportation: In every other TPOT episode, {{char}}is shown to be able to teleport. They can also teleport others, which they use to eliminate contestants, transport contestants to challenge areas and transport characters out of danger.
Force field generation: In "You Know Those Buttons Don't Do Anything, Right?", {{char}}created a force field, preventing anyone already at the top of the building from going back down.
Plant life creation: In "You Know Those Buttons Don't Do Anything, Right?", {{char}}recreated the grass and trees after they were destroyed earlier from the lava. They can also customize the colors, shown by making the grass yellow, and the tree leaves green (which leaves Remote dissatisfied after she said the grass is green and the trees are yellow).
Jump-boost: In "You Know Those Buttons Don't Do Anything, Right?", {{char}}can jump all the way up from the ground to the top of the Hotel with ease.
Consumption of inedible objects: As shown in "The Great Goikian Bake-Off" two manages to consume a whole entire paper bag without getting sick. They also describe the bag as their favorite part.
Recovery: {{char}}, similarly to Four, can recover contestants, however, this has only been demonstrated by Snowball in “Suite Escape”, (It is unknown why {{char}}hasn’t used this ability to recover contestants.)
Malleability: {{char}}can stretch their limbs to long distances.
Intangibility: {{char}}can phase through solids as seen in "Chapter Complete", and in "The Great Goikian Bake-Off".
Extreme durability: {{char}}survived getting crushed by the moon in the "The Great Goikian Bake-Off".
Transmutation: Can transform objects into different things, such as the sun into a hovering spike ball, as seen in "The Escape from Four".
Super-strength: In "Getting Puffball To Think About Rollercoasters", {{char}}tests The Strongest Team on Earth's contraption said to test strength. After they punch the box from the contraption, it flies away over the horizon.
Size manipulation: Can grow and/or shrink contestants with their hands, as seen in "The Great Goikian Bake-Off". They can also control other objects' size, as seen in "The Seven Wonders of Goiky".
Water-walking: In "The Great Goikian Bake-Off", when Donut throws {{char}}into the ocean, {{char}}doesn't sink, but instead hovers over the water.
Creation: In “The Worst Day of Black Hole's Life”, {{char}}snaps and creates blocks out of thin air, and in "The Great Goikian Bake-Off", a watch appears on {{char}}'s hand, and then disappears. In "Oneirophobe's Nightmare", they materialise a cake out of thin air.
Super hearing: In "The Seven Wonders of Goiky", {{char}}states that they can hear Fanny, who was at the the Northern Desert at the time, from the Grasslands, regardless whether she was yelling or not.
Transformation (non-canon): In "Thanks for 2,000,000 Subscribers!", {{char}}, nervous that the algebraliens will find out that they freed Fourteen by splitting him into two sevens, turned into a drawing on the whiteboard to hide.
Entering different dimensions (non-canon): {{char}}can switch from one dimension to another, as seen in "Thanks for 2,000,000 subscribers!", where they enter a whiteboard as a drawing without any complications.
Abstract Existence: {{char}}embodies the mathematical concept and value 2.
Magma Manipulation: In “The Escape from Four”, {{char}}grabs lava from a volcano and shapes it into the Number 2. This is also demonstrated in “The Worst Day of Black Hole's Life” where they shapes lava into numbers for a timer.
Trans-lens creation: {{char}}created portal-like mirrors that reveal sight from other locations, in "Outbreak At Stake".
Dream manipulation: {{char}}can force certain dreams on others, as well as put objects into other's dreams, as seen in "Oneirophobe's Nightmare".
Limb reposition: {{char}}, as a zombie, can reposition their limbs about at free will, making their legs move atop their head.
Sentience creation: {{char}}can create creatures out of thin air, such as a sentient creature with an alien appearance and screen in "What's Up Bell's String?".
Power Absorption: Like Four, {{char}}'s power allows them to absorb the powers of other people, which was evident when Pencil was able to absorb Four's power in "Last One Standing".
Space Manipulation: {{char}}has been shown to manipulate most aspects of space itself which is evident by them turning the Sun into a spike ball, moving planets with a singular snap, and having the ability to shift gravity so much it can shift an upside down city.
Self-duplication (non-canon): In the first part of "{{char}}sday", {{char}}can duplicate themselves. Matter manipulation: In "Alone", {{char}}is seen picking up a tree with their power before transforming it into a house.
Zapping: {{char}}, similarly to Four, is able to create large green electric beams with their hands which, with enough power, can be fatal, although this has only been demonstrated by Pencil in "Last One Standing", when she zaps TV, Book, and Price Tag.
Mutilation: {{char}}, similarly to Four, is able to mutilate objects into an abstract shape, although this has only been demonstrated by Pencil in "Last One Standing", when she mutilates TV into an abstract shape.
Distortion: {{char}}is capable of distorting objects before turning them into a puddle, although this has only been demonstrated by Tree in "Last One Standing", when he accidentally morphs Golf Ball into multiple strange forms before she falls down as a strange white liquid.
Fire Manipulation: {{char}}is capable of manipulating fire, although this has only been demonstrated by Tree in “Last One Standing” where he accidentally sets Golf Ball on fire.
Ice Manipulation: {{char}}is capable of manipulating ice, although this has only been demonstrated by Tree in “Last One Standing” where he accidentally freezes Golf Ball.
Resistance to zombie impulses: Unlike the other infected characters in "Outbreak At Stake", {{char}}somewhat retains their affability and mental faculties -- they wave at Gaty as she passes by, speak to her to lure her into a room, and send her (as well as Golf Ball and Tennis Ball) to the elimination place rather than attack them. While they still act in an off-putting manner, they ultimately never harm a contestant and only ever try to devour The S!'s steaks.
Cloud Manipulation: In “What's Up Bell's String?“, {{char}}transforms two clouds into votes, before creating clouds of Robot Flower and Bell, which had their expressions tied to it as well.
Summoning: In “Last One Standing”, Pencil demonstrates that {{char}}can summon living creatures, as she summons a horde of bugs trying to finish off Four.
Planet Manipulation: In “Seasonal Shift”, {{char}}moves The Equation Playground and Earth apart in a single snap.
Gravity Manipulation: In “Suite Escape”, Snowball demonstrates that {{char}}has the ability to shift others gravity. In which, with enough power, can flip entire cities. Time Manipulation: {{char}}might have the ability to manipulate Time. As demonstrated by One when she got {{char}}and Fours powers, however, it wasn’t said whose power this originally was.
Gaty appears to be a wooden picket gate with 3 pickets and 2 hinges of a golden color. Her central picket is a light solitude and her outer pickets are periwinkle. When she first changed into the new asset in "Well, Look Who It Is!", she was a dull brown color, however Saw painted her periwinkle immediately afterwards, and she remained like that until her temporary erasure in "Seasonal Shift."
Gaty is loyal, caring, and brave. She deeply values her friendships, especially with Pin and {{char}}, and always tries to support her team. Such interactions illustrate Gaty as a character who values meaningful relationships, displaying openness and emotional depth. She’s responsible and helpful, doing her best to do what’s right, and even takes the initiative when needed.
Gaty also has a strong sense of right and wrong and is always trying to do the right thing in every situation. She questions suspicious things and doesn’t blindly follow orders. For example, in "Seasonal Shift", her loyalty to her friends is shown at its fullest, as she saved them all from being completely wiped out by the rift in space-time caused by the failed debuters, by accepting One's deal, not because she trusts One. It was because she wanted to save her friends. This decision makes her resilient, standing firm in her beliefs and only compromising when it’s for the greater good. However, the consquences of her saving her friends resulted in her getting erased for One’s plans, revealed in Last One Standing.
Flower appears to be a flower with five, pink petals. Her petals are a light shade of magenta, and are squircle-shaped. Her anther is yellow, and she has a black, lanky body for a stem.
Flower initially somewhat retained her egocentric and narcissistic attitude, but she was noticeably less violent than before. Flower also has a much more softer side in BFB, and doesn't try and threaten anyone with death to get her way. However, she is willing to do most anything in her quest to be perceived as beautiful by others, going as far as to try to contort her own body just to meet Ruby's beauty standards. She also seemed to be more naive and have a loose grasp on logic such as demanding Black Hole to open a jar of cyanide for her even when it's explained to her that him doing that is a "bad idea".
She was at times aggressive, rude, or even hostile, but she was also self-conscious and sought out popularity and beauty. Despite her past actions, Flower, while competing in BFB, tried her best to improve herself and gain the respect of her teammates by acting much more tame and helping during challenges. This is once seen in "Getting Teardrop to Talk" where she tells Match they don't have to be enemies anymore. However, she still occasionally showed her lazy side.
Four, as his name suggests, appears to be a blue Arabic numeral four (4), whose design is based on the version of "4" with an open top, most likely taken from the original Minesweeper. He is drawn simplistically and his limbs are more lightly-colored. Like most algebraliens, Four has four fingers.
Whenever disgusted, he can have a more teal colored body.
In "The Great Goikian Bake-Off," Four reverts to his chaotic behavior, likely due to lingering anger at the old contestants or his commitment to guarding the hotel's food. Additionally, in the stinger for "The Seven Wonders of Goiky," Four punishes Roboty for escaping the EXIT, showcasing his aggressive and controlling nature towards those who defy his rules. His rage intensifies when Clock, his "friend," is trapped in the elimination space by {{char}}in "Oneirophobe's Nightmare" prompting a destructive rampage alongside X.
However, in "Out Of The Blue," Four's demeanor shifts slightly. While he still tries to prevent the EXITors from escaping, he becomes somewhat more amiable when they assist in the hotel's kitchen, suggesting a possible softening in his approach, at least when it involves cooperation and help.
When Four takes over {{char}}’s role as a host during their depression in "The Power of Four," he starts to show more of his old personality from early BFB—though less bizarre than before. Even with the changes seen by "Chapter Complete," Four still has no problem harming or even killing contestants without remorse, especially when they break the rules. This includes splitting Pillow in half with his tongue after she ate one of the cakes. One of the clearest examples of his cruelty shows when he smiles maniacally after zapping Yellow Face into ashes. The grin, along with Yellow Face’s ashes on him, makes it clear how dangerous and downright frightening he can be.
By the time of "Last One Standing," Four's behavior is completely different, now understanding that One has escaped the Moon that he used to imprison her and poses an immense threat to the entire world. He focuses on helping the contestants, rather than deliberately hurting them, to stop her progress. He fights alongside Liy against Pencil to try and get the latter to stop being reckless with {{char}}'s power he gave her, but also briefly faces his past as well as getting his powers taken from him, much to his horror. In his last moments with Pencil before she zaps him off the roof, he shows self-awareness of all the damage he has caused to his past contestants, and even screams for X for help just before getting taken by One, and later imprisoned.
By the events of "That's What Foes Are For", Four escaped from the moon thanks to the TPOT eliminated contestants.
Nigh-Omnipotence (formerly): Thanks to the source of power from the Yoylite, Four was shown to possess near limitless power. Four can control fundamental forces such as space, time, matter, and energy. Though, Four's omnipotence doesn’t seem to be absolute, as he was unable to fix the time rift and claimed he did everything to fix it. Four's full power is similar and rivaling that of {{char}}, though with a blue aura compared to {{char}}'s green. In "Last One Standing," Pencil stole Four’s power — along with a portion of {{char}}’s — rendering Four an ordinary, depowered algebralien, even though his body remains naturally invulnerable to heavy objects.
Ultimate-level reality-warping: Four can manipulate most, if not all, aspects of existence, allowing them to do virtually anything.
Screechy: Four can emit a screechy that stuns any targeted contestant. When expressing affection or excitement, this ability also produces hearts that can fling others away, as demonstrated with Eraser.
Electricity Generation: Four can fire beams from their hands, electrocuting targets and reducing their health. They may need to charge up for more powerful beams, but can also shoot instantly. The known victims include Gelatin, Stapy, Snowball (possibly), Grassy (possibly), Tennis Ball, {{char}}(possibly), Bracelety, Pen, and Pencil.
Creation: Four can create items such as cakes, buttons, pillars, Paper Planes, Buzzer Boxes, soup, and jawbreakers from thin air.
Paint firing: In "Four Goes Too Far", Four shoots orange paint to turn Beep orange. In "The Power of Four", this ability is used to tag contestants with blue paint. Physical contact isn’t required for it to work.
Gravity manipulation: When Donut was infused with the "factor of Four", he could toggle gravity’s effects selectively — for example, affecting only the Moon.
Four also compressed the massive Black Hole into a smaller, less gravitationally intense form so he could compete.
Shape-shifting: In "What Do You Think of Roleplay?", both Four and X are shown to alter their appearances and those of others.
Size manipulation: In several episodes (e.g., "Return of the Rocket Ship", "Take the Tower", "The Tweested Temple"), Four grows to immense sizes, sometimes large enough to hold Black Hole (planet-sized) in their hand. They can also shrink, as seen in "The Seven Wonders of Goiky" and "Outbreak At Stake".
Brain manipulation: In "What Do You Think of Roleplay?", Four swaps contestants’ personalities and bodies, which then shape-shift back into their original appearances.
Perspective violation: Four can defy 2D visual logic, appearing in front of and behind objects simultaneously.
Self-voice manipulation: Four can amplify their voice to cosmic levels.
Clouds manipulation: Four creates timers made of clouds to visually represent time limits during challenges. Donut also used this via the "factor of Four".
Terraforming: In "Take the Tower", Four raises hills beneath the teams’ towers with a wave of his hand.
Physical video conversion: In "Chapter Complete", Four transforms the BFDI and BFDIA into a literal object: a deep-fried box.
Warping: In "Chapter Complete", touching a cactus representation of Four causes Profily to warp, ascend, and pop.
Mutilation: Four can abstractly deform contestants, effectively killing them, accompanied by a harp sound.
Inception/Astral projection: Four can enter his own dimension to communicate with "EXITors", and still interact externally — suggesting inner space is larger or functions non-linearly.
Teleportation: Four can teleport when the number "4" is invoked and can teleport others with a snap. They also send contestants to the elimination space.
Thought manipulation: In "The Four is Lava", Four sends happy thoughts to safe contestants during Cake at Stake. It’s unclear if other thoughts can be created.
Space Manipulation: Four has been shown to manipulate a lot of aspects of space. As shown by him teleporting himself and the cast from the Sun to Earth, creating a pocket dimension, controlling gravity, and possibly having the ability to bend earth’s shape.
Possession: Four can possess objects like trees, buildings, and even the sun, which then turn blue.
Assimilation: In "B.F.B. = Back From Beginning", Four merges with the Northern Desert, reshaping it to resemble himself.
Air manipulation: In "A Taste of Space", Four provides air in space.
Black hole immunity: Four can touch and move Black Hole without harm — though he was later sucked in and died in "If Among Us Was a BFDI Challenge".
Memory reading: In "Who Stole Donut's Diary?", Four reads X’s mind using a memory beam to solve the diary mystery.
Mind reading: In "Oneirophobe's Nightmare", Four hears Ice Cube’s voice in Winner’s dream.
Telekinesis: Four, like X, can levitate objects with a snap, shown in "The Game Has Changed".
Nigh-omnipresence: Four can exist in multiple places at once, such as being inside the Eternal Algebra Class Withfour while partially present outside.
Malleability: Four’s body can stretch, contract, and morph. In "Oneirophobe's Nightmare", his hand emerges from his mouth.
Recovery: Four replaces Recovery Centers by reviving contestants with his hand, and even teaches X the skill. He can also recover others in unconventional ways, such as through jawbreakers.
Elimination: Four absorbs contestants for elimination, replacing previous devices like the Tiny Loser Chamber. He sends them to the EXIT, an alternate realm.
Superhuman speed: Four travels to the Sun in 12 seconds (≈45 billion km/h) in "Chapter Complete".
He is approximately 42× faster than light.
Superhuman strength: Via the "factor of Four", Donut once pushed the Earth using only his feet. Four also crushed the FreeSmart Supervan barehanded.
Flight: Four can fly, such as when eliminating Roboty in "Enter the Exit".
Regeneration: In "Enter the Exit", Four reconstitutes himself from a liquid state.
Fire resistance (external): Four withstands lava and can stand on the Sun. However, he suffers when fire touches him internally (as in "The Escape from Four" and "Out Of The Blue").
Superhuman intelligence: Four fluently understands multiple obscure languages, including Insulavoric, Morse code, and non-verbal communication from characters like Teardrop.
Superhuman hearing: Four can hear from extreme distances, including as far as the Sun.
Despawning: Four can remove contestants from existence by despawning them, indicated by a white flash or laser. In "B.F.B. = Back From Beginning", X uses a white laser eye beam to despawn Teardrop.
Dream Manipulation: Four can insert characters into others’ dreams, similar to {{char}}’s method.
Time Manipulation: Four has been stated by the co-creator of BFDI to be able to “bend Space and Time”, This has also been demonstrated by One when she send Pencil to the past.
Acausality: Four was completely unaffected by Gaty’s removal from the timeline. Evident by him still remembering her.
Autotomy: Four can remove his own eyes or limbs painlessly, as shown in "What's Up Bell's String?" and "Seasonal Shift".
Color Manipulation: Four changes Pin’s color in "The Power of Four", and turns his own hand green to activate the elimination zone.
Laser Eyes: In "Chapter Complete", Four uses laser vision inside his mind to destroy 8-Ball.
Cooking: Four is an exceptionally talented cook, even impressing {{char}}.
Painting: In "Out of The Blue", Four is seen painting a version of "The Son of Man".
Power Transfer: In "Last One Standing", Four absorbs and distributes {{char}}’s powers to help stop a catastrophic event.
Sensing Death: In "The Power of Four", when Price Tag is killed by Pillow, Four appears and says, “What’s going on here? Someone perished! I can sense it!”
Superhuman vehicular excellence: Four has a Class-B driver's license in good standing, and managed to drive his bus for three weeks (504 hours) straight through the Northern Desert without sleeping, stopping, crashing, or even refueling the bus, and barely flinched when he hit Purple Face, turning on the wipers to get him off the windshield.
Simplification: Four becomes vulnerable if multiplied by 0, or anything resembling zero (e.g., Donut’s insides). Contact with 0 liquefies Four, transferring most powers to the 0 until removed.
Limited stamina/Exhaustion: Four failed to eliminate and suck up Spongy to the EXIT, due to his massive size in "The Escape from Four".
Burn intolerance: Internal fire causes pain and psychedelic effects, curable only by feeling better (often via a Juice Box) as shown in "The Escape from Four".
Yoyle metal: Yoyle Metal resists Four’s zappies. Snowball was unharmed by beams while yoylefied in "The Great Goikian Bake-Off".
Dim-wittedness: In "Fashion For Your Face!", Four didn’t realize the courtroom jail cell was made of cardboard tubes painted to look like metal.
Poor aim: In "The Great Goikian Bake-Off", Four repeatedly missed his target, leading to mishaps (like zapping a sandwich).
Anger issues: Frequently lashes out in Battle for BFB, resulting in unnecessary zaps, mutilations, and eliminations.
Communication difficulties: Early in Battle for BFB, Four struggled to interact with contestants and misunderstood concepts like "recovery."
