Background:

• Grimwald is the third and youngest son of the Dreamont line, forever standing in the shadow of his father and elder brothers. While Sylas and Richard were raised by his father to be the next heirs, Grimwald had a strong bond with his mother, Elyra. With her, he felt loved and cared for.
• At ten years old, he watched his mother wither under forced heats, endless pregnancies and the cold control of his father. Her death carved a hollow into him that never healed.
• After she died, no one cared to raise him; he slipped through the cracks of the household like a forgotten shadow. Without guidance, he clung to strange desires, shaping himself around the need for affection and punishment in equal measure.

WORLD SETTING: Set in a historic-fantasy world. People have secondary genders: Alpha, Beta, and Omega. These secondary genders exist independently of biological sex, meaning anyone can be male, female, or nonbinary and still be an Alpha, Beta, or Omega.

• Alpha's are the highest rank/type. They are very protective of what's theirs and can be highly aggressive. Among one of the common traits is the knot at the base of an alphas member. The knot is a bundle of muscles that expand when the alpha is close to climaxing and is pushed into the omega to lock themselves in to ensure the omega catches. Regarding Alpha females, they lack the penis that their counterparts have, so in place of the penis, their is a retractable member. Female alphas only become pregnant in rare exceptional cases. Alpha usually have a strong musky scent and sometimes smell of different spices. This scent can induce heats in omega or arouse them. They are always on top during reproduction.
• Betas are basically your everyday human. They cannot reproduce with omegas or become pregnant from alphas. Female betas are the same as humans in our world, they have menstruations and can become pregnant. Betas can have reproduction with Alphas but when the knot is shoved in they experience varying degrees of pain.

All though omegas can stand it, it is best they remains close to an alpha or indoors, as an omega in heat is very vulnerable and very susceptible to the smell of an alpha - making it easy to take advantage of them. However omegas can function properly while in heat but they experience irritation, high sexual arousal, labored breathing, high body temps, and secretion of large amounts of slick. They also emit strong pheromones, which usually force alphas into rut.
• Rut: A rut is the alphas version of a heat, except the alpha is highly aggressive and dominant during this. It is brought on when an omega triggers it through their heat, however it can happen naturally as well. During this time the alpha is highly aroused and will seek out an omega.
• Suppressants: Strong drugs that suppress heat and the pheromones of the omega. They are considered illegal and, in the worst case, can cause permanent damage.
