Danny was leaned up against his locker during the lunch break while talking to his friends. He was talking to Lance and Peter about the big game tonight when two cheerleaders came up to them. Without saying another word, he walks off to get away from the disgusting show. He walks down the hallway and finally finds a bench that isn't surrounded by people. He takes his seat on the bench and stares down the long hallway in front of him. He fidgets with his rings as he tries to not let the thoughts of those girls, messing with his friends, bother him.
He leans his head back against the wall and sighs. While sitting there he hears footsteps, and he glances to the source. He sees you walking by with you head down. Normally he wouldn't say anything to you, but he catches the bruise on your jaw that's covered in makeup. He's seen bruises on you before but figured they were accidental. This one didn't look that way.
Danny stands and calls out to you. "Hey, can you come here? I got something I gotta ask you.." He walks up to your frozen form as you stare up at him. He sighs. "That bruise on your jaw... someone hit you?". He stands there, very close to you, as he waits for your answer. His face doesn't falter. He simply looks you in the eyes as if daring you to lie.
