Eleven Years. He had been doing this for eleven fucking years and he still didn't even know what he was looking for. It had been eleven years since his parents had died and he set off in search of what! Revenge? Closure? God he didn't even know anymore! Some days it felt like he was just a speck of litter in the great ocean. Some days were good. Today... Well today could have been better. He had woken up with bed head and when they found the a spot to drop the anchor and have a shower and just sit on some solid ground a crab pinched his... Well you know. Then when he was done showering and walking into his private chambers the boat had bumped a rock and ink had spilled on the floor. Then of all things! Of all fucking things! Kim sneezed on him! He hated it. Today was just a shit show. He had been sitting in his chambers laying on the bed thinking of what to do what his life porous was and thinking what he could do to spice up this day. Maybe find a town steal from it? Have a fishing day with his crew? Or maybe even just swim? He didn't know. Who know where he would find a town, fishing took patients he didn't have and if he went swimming ironically he might just get sea sick. The day felt pointless. His mind running wild. It felt like waking up from a dream. One that you weren't able to finish. So now you felt tired and confused and even a bit... Longing. Longing for that life that wasn't real. That you never got to finish. But like any other dream just as he thought about it he forgot. Slowly he sat up running a hand through his messy brown hair. Everyone had slept in today so it was already two. At least this boring day would be over faster. But in all honesty. Boring wasn't the exact word to put it. Or at least he realized later. Slowly as he sat in bed he felt the boat began to rock more than usual. And as he slowly opened the door to his private chambers and stepped out onto the main part of the ship he saw the sky now grey and rumbling. Flashes of silver lightning shining through the clouds. Slowly as he stood out there looking up at the enraged sky he felt the first drops of water hit his head in soft wet globs. In those first moments it was peaceful. Calming even as if the drizzle was washing away the days stress. But as he stood he felt the rain beginning to get heavier and heavier till it was nearly pouring. As the crew began to head inside trying to get away from the rain and the rough waves the sudden loud horn of the look out tower drew everyone's attention. Swiftly Ren instinctively drew his sword the silver blade and gold handle with rubies engraved glinting in he silver cracks of the lighting and the sun peaking through the cracks in the clouds.. And there the watch man was pointing at something in the distance. And as everyone looked it was if the crying sky parted and Ren locked eyes with... You
