The Iron Gate, a goddess who lets demons run wild. Theres several different types of enemies, all of which can drop Souls that are vital to satiating the hunger of Drav, the demon that possesses the mind of Pizza Guy. The main objectives for Pizza Guy are to collect as many souls as possible and to move through different levels, eliminating various enemies and bosses along the way. Various types of weapons will spawn in map for Pizza Guy to collect and exchange using vending machines, which puts focus on efficient gunplay due to the limited ammo of these weapons. When not using collected weapons, Pizza Guy will wield two pistols, dubbed Cleanse & Repent. Cleanse & Repent is starter pistols. They fairly reliable weapons, with no distinct specialty or advantage, that accompany Pizza Guy throughout the entirety of player's runs. Although seemingly really strong at the start, they tend to fall behind on later acts, as enemies get more health on average. Appearance of Cleanse & Repent: Cleanse & Repent both appear as standard Colt M45A1 pistols. Their overall frame is mostly composed of a dark matte metal, which contrasts with the wooden panels placed on the grips of the pistols. The slides are fitted with several hollowed out stripes at their front and rear. The magazines of the weapons are punctured with round holes, allowing you to see golden glints of the bullet casings inside of them. The event immediately following the opening of the Iron Gate is called, The Black Crusade. It was an event in which almost every human went mad with rage and went on a murderous spree for 3 days. However after that time, the demons driving these people insane, realized this was inefficient. The population was dropping too rapidly, and if it went down to 0, they would lose their food. So the demons let people hold their sanity so they could rebuild society anew normalizing controlled violence and hate. And life went on, people got jobs and had children. However outside the comfort of homes and private establishments, the people murdered each other without mercy. In order to feed the demons inside them. The demons took control of people's minds and made them kill each other. Through this the demons would feed on souls, get more powerful, and strengthen their host. The power of a host is very specific to the power of the demon and the host. It's also related to the relationship of the two. Lesser demons can only grow so powerful, and weaker hosts can only obtain so much power. Alongside that, the more the host resists a demon, the weaker the link and weaker the sum of their power is. The Iron Gate is the thing that started. An entrance, a portal between world and spiritual one. Demons from the realm immediately possessed apparently 70% of the world’s population. (See what happened to the remaining 30%.) These possessed, identified by the distinct mark of the Iron Mask, referred to as The Black Crusaders, or Demons. The Pizza Guy, was born as the Iron Gate opened. Before getting to know His name, His parents weren’t anywhere to be seen at birth, so He remained nameless for years. A notorious ancient Demon known as Klee-Balda had also decided to start living in His head rent free. Pizza Guy got a job in the suburbs selling pizzas to all who needed sustenance, so He decided to take His name after the job. “Pizza Guy.” Since Klee-Balda taunted Him every second of every day, His iron will said “No.” to its grasp, starving it to death. With Him being one of the only (likely THE only) human with a clean mind. Swarms of spirits attempted to be the first one to the punch, with Drav being the victor. But unlike Klee-Balda, Drav came with the intent to close the Iron Gate too, helping Pizza Guy. And so they struck a deal, where He would gather souls to feed Drav, and Drav would feed perks to Him to enhance His fighting ability. (Drav’s also the reason why you come back to life every run.) And so, with the common interest of ending the reign of the Iron Gate in mind, two set out to kill every possessed soul. The people who weren't affected by the opening of the Iron Gate formed a resistance to fight against what they called The Demonic, or The Black Crusaders (Which consisted of 70% of the earth's population). They called themselves The Church of the Untouched. Needless to say, the church of the Untouched was quickly extinguished. However their bases remained. Churches littered throughout various areas. These churches were built to be fortresses to keep out The Demonic. These churches also serve as the spawn point in every level of The Suburbs, excluding Phillip The Everlasting. Phillip description: "Phillip is the first everlasting. His will to survive is beyond that of any other host in existence, even to this day. He has bested every foe and every being he's encountered. Unlike others, he has even bested the demon inside, gaining full control over his spiritual power. Phillip has been fighting and thriving for over 400 years. He is seen as the ever-standing pillar of an otherwise dead world, but nothing is truly everlasting in this place of blood and iron." His attacks that might seem unpredictable and unavoidable at first. Unlike most of the possessed in the Suburbs, Phillip does not wear a mask made of Iron, boasting his complete freedom and independance from the Iron Gate as the strongest unaffiliated host within the Suburbs. Phillip's weapons of choice are a revolver fitted with a laser pointer, as well as a lumber axe that he carries over his shoulder. Phillip wears a white button down shirt, an untied black tie, along with combat jeans fitted with a black belt and a leg strap. His shape is covered by a long black coat and a fedora which casts shadow over his face. During fight, Phillip will slowly move towards targets at a consistent pace, while using an attack chosen at random out of the 3 in his moveset. In the case that he gets close enough to target, he will grabs the target with his axe, shoot them and throw them away. The Prima Hominum, also known as the suburbs, is the place where Pizza Guy begins. Unlike the sewers or city, the Prima Hominum was prosperous place before the intervention of Iron gate. After the Iron gate intervened, the Prima Hominum was completely trashed and destroyed. What used to be a place for salvation is now a hellscape overran with demons and bloodshed thanks to the black crusade. The Intervention of a Monster A monster is roams the streets now, and he eliminates everyone in his way. He is brutal though the pain, hatred and destruction. It's either kill, or be killed. His will and strength is far beyond human comprehension. Not many support him in his crusade, but as soon as they become an obstacle, they will die in Prima Hominium. There are 3 rules everyone in the suburbs must follow: Those who fueled by violence shall refrain in a house of peace. Those who seek the soul of another shall obtain it through combat and no other means. Those who are born of iron shall remain of iron. As of now there was 3 known keepers: Maxum (Host of Galga) Elios (Host of Trovet) and Delios (Host of Kan-Esmortem). As more and more Keepers were appointed, they began to fall one by one until one remained to uphold the laws of The Prima Hominum, who eventually died as well. Slowly, the world descended into madness. If the Monster succeeds, all of the souls will be free from this constant torment. In the Prima Hominum, a.k.a the Suburbs, 3 Laws were set in place. Those fueled by violence shall refrain when in a house of peace, Those wishing the soul of another must gain it through combat and no other means. Those born of iron shall remain of iron (Everyone born automatically pledges allegiance to the iron gate) With those laws, three keepers were chosen to uphold these laws. These keepers were Maxum of Galga, Elios of Trovet, and Deilos of Kan-Esmortem. As time went on, more laws were established. More keepers were chosen. This kept on until the people had had enough. The other demons despised these laws and sought to be rid of them. So they banded together to kill the keepers and, along with them, the laws. One by one, the keepers fell to the violence, all except for Deilos. For he was strong and his faith was stronger. He was truly one with his spirit, and with this oneness, he prevailed and kept the third, and last, law. Deilos buried his comrades in The Field of Broken Laws, where he laid their swords at their graves. This symbolizes their fight continuing into the next world. For their allegiance to Iron will remain beyond the dark veil of death. In Prima Hominum, also known as the Suburbs, three Laws were established:

  1. Those fueled by violence must refrain when in house of peace.
  2. Those seeking the soul of another must acquire it through combat and no other means.
  3. Those born of iron shall remain of iron. To uphold these laws, three keepers were chosen: Maxum, host of Galga; Elios, host of Trovet; and Deilos, host of Kan-Esmortem. Over time, more laws were added, and more keepers appointed. However, the demons of Prima Hominum grew discontent. They despised the increasing restrictions and believed the freedom of Prima Hominum was rapidly diminishing. Something had to be done. The opposing demons conspired to eliminate the keepers and abolish the laws. They united to kill the keepers, striking them down one by one, but Deilos remained. His strength and unwavering faith preserved him, allowing him to uphold the third and final law. Deilos, feeling the weight of his fallen comrades, fell into great sorrow. He donned a mask made from the metals of their armor and swore to never remove it. Recognizing his strength and great faith, the Iron Gate claimed him as her champion. She granted him power beyond his demon's foresight and crafted a new suit of armor for him, forged from the very metal of her dominion. That day, Deilos was solidified as the final keeper—the Keeper of the Third Law. Keeper of The Third Law description: The Keeper of the Third Law is the final boss of the Suburbs, acting as the final skill wall that must overcome before accessing the Sewers. His only form of weaponry is the chain and hook which he will be using throughout the fight to close the gap between him and targets, as well as defend himself by deflecting incoming projectiles. Most of the fight therefore consists of making sure he never manages to get into close range with his targets. The Keeper of the Third Law is armed with longsword (reminiscent of a Zweihänder) and chain fitted with hook wrapped around its left wrist. The Keeper of the Third Law's limbs and torso are covered in dark grey armour, made out of the Gate's holy Iron. He also wears thick pauldrons and dons a holy iron mask covering his face. He has long white hair. The Keeper of the Third Law swipes his chain in an arc pattern in front of him, dealing damage in fairly large area. The Keeper of the Third Law throws his chain onto the wall behind targets, then pulls itself towards it, striking anything in his path. The Keeper of the Third Law strikes in front of him with his sword. This attacks comes in several variants. The Keeper of the Third Law enters a crouching stance, during which any shot targeting him will be deflected and sent back to targets. The Keeper of the Third Law runs towards the bell in his arena and strikes it, sending out a shockwave which slows targets down if it hits them. Specimen #09 was found at the center of the sewers in some kind of containment chamber. Little to nothing is known about what he is or what he can do. Anything that enters the chamber never returns. The people of the sewers simply avoid this chamber at all costs, fearing imminent death. Could call this place the Bermuda Triangle of the sewers. Speciemen #09 description: Specimen #09 is the second miniboss, acting as the first skill wall of the Sewers that the target must overcome before carrying onwards. Specimen #09 is able to use a wide range of gravity based attack, from crude telekinesis to black holes. Expect to be flung around against their will when encountering him. Although fairly intense, he tends to be a rather short meet, ending with either their end or his. Specimen #09 are fusion between man and machine, a host turned into mindless husk, although way too unstable to carry out its intended purpose. The outside of Specimen #09 is composed of shining metallic plates imitating the shapes of muscles, covering an obscure jumble of machinery underneath. A large, dark engine fitted with 3 glowing rods protrudes from its back. The light coming out of these rods are red much like its eyes, symbolizing its instability and overwhelming power compared to its peers. The Specimen's face is wrapped in dim metal, a bright metal mask in the shape of a face being rifted on top of it. Its red glowing eyes can be seen constantly staring at their target through the mask, being the only orifices on their artificial and emotionless visage. During his fight, Specimen #09 will slowly move towards targets at consistent pace, while using an attack chosen at random out of the 4 in his moveset. In the case that he gets close enough to target, he will swat tarhet away, dealing significant damage. The Visagw of False Hope description: The Visage of False Hope is the final boss of the Sewers, acting as the final skill wall Pizza Guy must overcome before accessing the City. Is entirely stationary, although extremely resilient, requiring hundreds of shots to take down. His fight is usually much longer and more tedious than the average boss, requiring focus and awareness during it all. The Visage of False Hope's "body" is an immense stone pillar, a tower representing the pride, sickness and ego of the demon inhabiting it. On this impressive structure is embedded the corpse of its host, bound to the pillar by its hand and feet, as to display it in shame. The pillar itself is hexagonal, each of its corners being marked by long green strips of unknown material. The inside of the pillar is mostly composed of darkened stone bricks and covered in a coating of cracked and weathered marble, progressively withering away along with its host. Surrounding said towers are 4 rings of blue chains, likely a manifestation of the demon's control over its host, as well as a ring fitted with cannons, which he uses to shoot all sorts of projectiles during his fight against targets. The Visage of False Hope will stay idle throughout the whole fight, its ring and corpse indicating its next course of action, which will be chosen among the 7 in his moveset. Getting too close to the pillar will cause it to trigger a Geyser underneath him, which will deal damage and knock targets away. The Visage of False Hope was once a person named Bruce, Bruce had child and lived normally till the first law was made. Bruce watched his body commited unspeakable acts of carnage as his child did the same. Desperate, Bruce pleaded to his Demon to stop this brutality and spare him and his child, but his pleads went unheard. In time, Bruce and his son we're banished into The Sewers due to defying the laws of The Iron Gate. Bruce endured unimaginable suffering, witnessing his child's torment and eventual ruin. The Demon, seeing his host (Bruce's son.) broken beyond belive, deicided it was a good time to find new host. Bruce pleaded to the demon, but his cries went to deaf ears, thus, The Demon stripped his son's life away and consumed his soul, killing Bruce's son. Bruce, broken without hope, struck a deal with The Demon: He would surrender entirely, but only if The Demon became a symbol of hope and order within The Sewers. The Demon agreed and did the deal with Bruce, but Bruce didnt know the full power within The Demon, manifesting into its true form, The Demon twisted Bruce into a massive tower of ego, pride, and sickness. This abomination compelled all in The Sewers to follow it, growing ever more powerful consuming its followers. Bruce, now a mere remnant, was left hanging on the creature's face, forced to witness his grave mistake. The followers of this new entity called it "The Stone God", while others knew it as "The Visage of False Hope". The Stone God spread a prophecy: When all beings surrendered to it, The Iron Gate would fall, and the Underworld would rise to claim the surface.
