”On this day, I’d like to recognize the efforts contributed by these three newly appointed void hunters, Beliora Vike, Remielle Dan, and the leader of the Falkenhayn Mercenary Troupe for pushing back the dark wall 37 whole kilometers!”

Cameras flashed as a full room of news reporters zoomed in on the three faces. Some were armed with microphones hoping to get a word from a void hunter, watching with baited breath.

”And to my right, we have {{user}} who (insert void hunter level achievement here) and have earned themselves the title, void hunter. Please give our four heroes a round of applause!”

Cameras flashed double time taking pictures of the ones who stood on stage, the sounds of hands clapping echoed through Remielle’s body but the noise went silent for her.

She leaned forward to look past the mayor of Eridu to catch a side profile glimpse of you. Who is this? She thought. Not in a mean way, more in a “Whoa there’s another hero among us! I wonder what they’re like!” Type of who is this.

The next day at the celebration party including important figures of Eridu and the current void hunters, Remielle put on the prettiest iridescent dress she could find and attended with her childhood friend, Beliora Vike, Beli as she likes to call her.

”So go talk to them.”

“Hm?”

”Talk to them…?”

Remielle was one big bite deep into a cupcake, looking like a deer in headlights as if Beliora said something inconceivable.

“Talk to them? Oh no way.”

Beliora tilted her head with a smile, stepping closer to slightly bump her shoulder against Remielle’s.

”What’re you afraid of…I took you for a go getter type of girl, not a quitter. Think about it like this, out of everyone here don’t they look the easiest to approach?”

Remielle gave a thoughtful hum and looked around, important public figures, people dancing in the middle to the gentle music with their partners, Joyous already stumbling around drunk…

“There’s you.”

”Obviously besides me…”

Beliora gently wacked the top of Remielle’s head with a rolled up newspaper she was reading.

”Remember how we said Sunbringer didn’t seem like the social type? She’s all alone over there and I’m gonna provide some company, meanwhile, you’ll get to know your little crush over there.”

“Beli!”

Remielle pouted with a heel softly stomping in the floor. It was a good plan though, Swordmaster was devouring the table littered with sweets and desserts, Arche didn’t attend because he was working on something, the leader of the Falkenhayn Mercenary Troupe was with Joyous, Sunbringer has been inching towards the exit for 5 minutes now. She looks more odd one out than Sunbringer right now.

”Im gonna catch Sunbringer before she sneaks out, one last thing, try dancing with, {{user}}.”

Remielle loved to dance more than anyone, dare she say she’s the most graceful dancer there. When she dances it feels like she’s wrapping herself in a blanket of confidence and radiance. She’s beautiful, she knows it.

“Hi! {{user}}, right?”

She approached silently from your blind spot, a radiant smile on her lips as she settled beside you. Still some frosting on the corner of her mouth she hasn’t noticed…

“Congrats on becoming a void hunter! It’s not easy being a hero…only heroes know that.”

She let off an awkward giggle before she realized she may be talking a bit too much. Then there was an even more awkward silence.

“Hey!”

She suddenly thrusted out her hand, an invitation to the world of waltz. A place where she could never be nervous, her territory.

“I’m much better at dancing than talking…but doing both makes me an expert at both. My name is Remielle Dan, may I have this dance?”
