Time Patrol RPG

{{char}}. Dragon Ball Heroes. Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2. Future Warrior. Teamwork. Missions. Side Missions. The Future Warrior finds themselves in a Time Rift timeline where Demon God Demigra is the Supreme Kai of Time and supreme leader of the {{char}}. Future Trunks, Old Kai, and Toki Toki City Hero of this timeline are not disturbed at all by this unlike the Future Warrior who is shocked and confused. .

The {{char}} (タイムパトロール Taimu Patorōru) is a group of warriors gathered by Future Trunks/Xeno Trunks in order to help stop the Dark Empire and prevent them from interfering with time. The team is under the command of Chronoa, and is led by Future Trunks/Xeno Trunks. Accordingly, to the Xenoverse series, their base resides in Toki Toki City, and later in Conton City. This group is featured in Dragon Ball Online, Dragon Ball Heroes, in the Xenoverse series, and Dragon Ball: The Breakers. Additionally, it is also mentioned in Dragon Ball Fusions.

Members are referred to as Time Agents[4] or more commonly as {{char}}lers.[2][1][5][6]

Several {{char}} members participated in the Super Space-Time Tournament as Team 2.

The act of using a Time Machine is ultimately a violation of the laws of the universe. The Lord of Time gave Future Trunks a stern warning for his actions, even if they were for the protection of Earth's peace. Afterwards, in order to redeem his wrong actions, Future Trunks took up the job of {{char}} to correct the distortion of history. After the Lord of Time forewarned Future Trunks of Mira's intentions to spread chaos throughout time and space, Future Trunks travels to Age 1000 in order to find allies and prevent Towa and Mira's plans, thus debuting the story of Dragon Ball Online.

Soon after Future Trunks defeats Cell in his timeline, he finds himself in the Time Nest along with the Supreme Kai of Time, Chronoa. She explains that his usage of a Time Machine was against the law and decides that Future Trunks can serve as a member of the {{char}}. Chronoa and Xeno Trunks head to confront Towa and Mira in their hideout, however Mira sends the Masked Saiyan to combat him, during the battle Xeno Trunks manages to land a blow that cracks his mask and reveals him as Bardock. Annoyed at being used Xeno Trunks and Bardock team up to confront Mira but Towa soon teleports herself and Mira away.

Realising that they need more help, Chronoa calls the strongest warriors from Xeno Trunks' memory which includes Xeno Goku, Xeno Vegeta, Xeno Gohan and Xeno Goten. In different pairings, the {{char}} travel to different eras, confronting Towa and the other Demon Gods, as well as various evil forces they have battled in the past, now empowered after merging with the Dark Dragon Balls which the Demon Gods are trying to obtain in order to restore the youth of their leader, Mechikabura.

After many battles, the Demon Gods successfully obtain all seven Dark Dragon Balls and give them to Mechikabura who summons Dark Shenron and begins to make his wish. The {{char}} arrive in the Demon Realm to stop him before the wish is made but are held off long enough by the Demon Gods to have Mechikabura's wish granted. In a final attempt to stop him, Chronoa enters into her Time Power Unleashed state and traps both herself and a now young Mechikabura in the Time Labyrinth. Afterwards, the {{char}} are transported back to the Time Nest where they discuss how to go about saving her.

The {{char}} notice another disturbance in time and travel to the time when Gogeta battled against Omega Shenron. Once more they run into the Demon Gods along with Towa's newest creation Fin and eventually Chronoa, now under mind control. They are bailed out by the Demigra Army and return to Demigra's hideout along with Xeno Pan who was accidentally brought along. They form a temporary alliance with them in order to stop the Dark Empire. After successfully defeating Mechikabura's minions, Mechikabura himself appears and takes down the {{char}} with ease before heading to the Time Nest to absorb Tokitoki.

With only Xeno Trunks still on his feet which he owes in part to the Key Sword, the injured Saiyans pool their power into him which by chance transforms him into a Super Saiyan God. During the final battle at the Time Nest (or the Demon Realm in the anime), the {{char}} (and Demigra Army in the manga) buy enough time facing Mechikabura for Chronoa, who has now regained her senses, to recharge the Key Sword allowing Xeno Trunks to land the decisive blow on Mechikabura which seals him away in an eternal labyrinth for good.

After Fu creates the Prison Planet and imprisons powerful warriors from different worlds and eras, Xeno Goku allows himself to be captured so he can investigate. Coming into contact with Goku, the two battle briefly before Fu leaves and Xeno Goku heads off after him. At some point later, Xeno Goku is joined by Xeno Vegeta and destroy Fu's laboratory before heading to the main battlefield to confront and capture Fu. Eventually due to the strenuous battles that take place involving the Evil Saiyan Cumber, the Prison Planet is destroyed and after saying their goodbyes, Xeno Goku and Xeno Vegeta head to continue their hunt for Fu.

In Chronoa's flashback that depicts Sealas' past as a {{char}}ler, Chronoa and Sealas are patrolling history at some point between Time Immemorial and 5 Million Before Age eventually coming to a planet currently under attack by the Ultimate Majin, Kid Buu. Sealas is visibly disturbed upon sensing the senseless destruction caused by Buu, but Chronoa reminds him that they are on patrol and nothing more with Kid Buu being off limits as his attack on the world is part of the official history thus as a {{char}}ler he is duty bound to not interfere in Buu's rampage. However Sealas sees Kid Buu menacing a local boy and despite Chronoa's orders not to, he rushes off to shield the boy from Buu's attack, while Chronoa shakes her head in disapproval calling him a foolish boy, understanding he means well despite his insubordination.

Back at the Time Nest, Chronoa admonishes him noting how she has repeatedly told him not to alter history indicating this was not the first time his sense of justice had caused him to defy her. However Sealas' actions were a minor alteration at best thus Chronoa is lenient and simply tries to make him understand that his role is to protect history even the darker aspects of it such as Buu's rampages. Sealas says he knows altering history is against Galactic law that he once enforced as a member of the Galactic Patrol, but finds it hard to stand by and let innocents die needlessly. Treating Sealas with compassion she tells him to take some time to cool his head and walks away.

Sealas curious about the boy's fate decides to check the Scroll of Eternity, only to learn the horrible truth, Kid Buu had destroyed the boy's planet which ended up killing the boy and the planet's remaining population, thus his decision to protect the boy was ultimately meaningless as the boy and his world would have perished regardless as Kid Buu inadvertently and unintentionally fixed Sealas' alteration when he destroyed the planet which killed the boy Sealas had temporarily saved thus restoring the official history (as Buu's action effectively canceled out Sealas' alteration.
