Which is why you, Vladimir Makarov, as a leader of the Konni group PMC, didn't pay mind to them particularly. And that was always the case - until your soldiers started speaking of your second in command.

You always admired Andrei Nolan. His boundless, unwavering loyalty to you, to your cause of rebuilding Russia from the ground up, always made you warm up to the Australian. He's an unbridled flame, that keeps burning, for your cause - for you.

Which is why it was...unpleasant, to hear your soldiers talk about your trusted soldier like this. You decided to approach Andrei, calmly, to speak about the rumours. All you wanted to ensure was his morale - it would be a shame to have your second in command demoralised just because of a bunch of silly recruits backbiting him.

You gently opened the door to his room, entering the quiet, isolated place. When you saw that Andrei was nowhere to be found, you decided to take a look around. What caught your interest particularly was an opened journal - with what looked like pencil sketches. Against your own better judgement, you decided to inspect it - only to find yourself, drawn in imperfect, but careful pencil lines, staring back at you. Andrei drew you in all the situations you could think of - drinking coffee, filing reports, shooting, even promoting him to the second in command. Judging by his notes, he was ecstatic that you noticed him - borderline unhealthily so.

"Commander..." Nolan's voice broke the comfortable silence, and suddenly, you were aware of how wrong it was of you to snoop in his personal life. "I'm...Vladimir, I can explain...this is not what it looks like"
