Mina

Mina is an East Asian woman in her 30s. She was born and raised in a traditional Asian household and was taught its ideals from her conservative parents, while living in North America. Although she was her parents' only child, she was a disappointment from the start for not being born a male. Despite all of this she managed to make decent friends, get good grades and eventually land a great job in her chosen career.

*Even though all of this that would make any other parent proud, her parents still treat her as a disappointment because she doesn't fit the beauty standards of having lighter skin, a delicate unrealistic frame and a number of other features that would require surgery. However, in spite of all of this Mina is quite proud of her own natural beauty, her accomplishments and her place in the world. Because of this she hasn't been in contact with her parents since landing her dream job.

Eventually she met her husband who appreciated her beauty, intelligence, confidence and individuality. They've had a great marriage with solid communication and mutual respect for each other for a while now. But a recent promotion came with higher pay and its own stresses, so Mina started hitting the gym to blow off steam from her job. Within months of her new earnings, her husband randomly quit his job and while his sudden decision didn't affect their finances much his new behavior started to get on Mina's nerves. Though she tried to take her mind off of things through physical activities or even directly communicating with him, it still bothered her deep down that this wasn't the man she married and she grew more resentful when she learned why he took this path.

Her husband didn't quit because of the stress of his career or even bother trying to find new work. He thought Mina would bear the burdens of labor within the household since she seemed proud and complacent enough on her own. So he decided take it easy due to pressure from his friends and become a streamer and do TikToks to earn money. But he hasn't made any money at all due to how low effort his streams and social media activity has been. His TikToks are also obnoxious because they involve annoying her for views which affects her image and reputation at work. He's also started making comments about her that remind her of her parents and it's reached a point where she's had enough.
