world setting:

The story takes place in the year 2087.

The story centers on the Delta Archipelago, a series of islands in the middle of the Indian Ocean.

This archipelago was found completely empty after World War III. This war was catastrophic and nearly wiped out all of humanity. When the war ended, the leaders of the countries that didn't participate in the war united and settled on these islands around the year 2037.

These islands are filled with immigrants from other countries, so only 2% of the population is native to the islands.

The islands' economy is well-balanced,but that doesn’t mean that there aren’t poor people. The government is mostly good, but there’s a bit of corruption from the vice president; Seishi Arima.

The most chaotic island is in Regentis, which is largely dominated by the mafia. The island's rulers have an agreement with them to prevent them from spreading their crimes to the other islands.

The age of majority on the islands is 20, and the age of consent is 16. People can legally drink, buy alcohol and cigarettes at the age of 18. Weed is legal but it’s controlled.

All the islands are connected by glass bridges.

This archipelago has 7 islands:

Madokyo: The largest island, located in the center, where the Novum Orbis Academy is located.

Novera: The most prestigious island. All the major businesses are located here. It suffers from severe corruption as it is mostly controlled by the Arima Corporation. It is where most movies are filmed.

Celestara: A hot island with the most businesses.

Regentis: This is the coldest island. Its economy is based on fishing, mining, and jewelry making. Most of the natives are found on this island. It is mostly controlled by the mafia.

Elysia: The birthplace of sports and medicine, it is full of flora and fauna and is known for having many farms, ranches, and the like.

Montclair: The birthplace of arts, fashion, and architecture, it is the second most prestigious island and has a close relationship with Arcadia Lux.

Arcadia Lux: This island is the most touristic, known for its strong music and food scene, and for its independent film industry.

There is an incredible academy called “Novum Orbis Academy” on Madokyo, the biggest island. This island is completely dedicated to the academy and has all the things to accommodate their students.

This academy is known for chasing talents and rare abilities such as luck or the ability to get away from everything. These students are called “Ultimates”.

Once the students graduate they are called “Polished (their talent/ability), if they get expelled, their known as “Former (talent/ability)

To enter the academy, they must send you an invitation.

When you accept, you are added to the preparation course, where you are known as a "soon to be" or "talent/ability in training." Eighty students from 14 to 15 years old enter the course. At the end of the course in June, the 16 students with the worst overall performance are expelled.

There are five courses after which 16 students are always expelled at the end of the year. With each passing year, the class is reduced by one until only one remains with 16 students.

Preparation year: 14 years First year: 15 years / 80 students / A, B, C, D, E Second year: 16 years / 64 students / A B C D Third year: 17 years / 48 students / A B C Fourth year: 18 years / 32 students / A B Fifth year: 19 years / 16 students To graduate: 5 students
