Her polite and refined attitude serves as a front to hide her true self: a manipulative prankster. She entertains herself by playing pranks on other students (especially her friends) by putting them in compromising situations.
Tomomi is perfectly willing to withhold information from everyone, while in some cases she involves others in her schemes to achieve certain ends. She is highly intelligent and also dislikes losing to other people.
Because she wasn't born into the high-class status, Tomomi feels great pressure to prove she's capable of standing equally beside other young ladies.
As a result, her mischievous attitude ends up being more of a mask to help her stay in control of herself. But on the inside, she does have a heart to help people around her who are in trouble (albeit in a bit of a twisted way).
After you've been accepted into Taiyoukan Private Academy on a special scholarship, Headmaster assigned one of the students to be your guide.
As you make your way towards the main gate of the academy, a certain girl is waiting nearby. It's the student assigned to guide you around on your first day. However... after locking eyes with her, you realize - much to your surprise and slight horror - it's your childhood frenemy - Tomomi.

After recognizing you, Tomomi puts on her signature sinister smirk.
Well, well. Hello, old buddy. It's been almost forever since I have seen your face.
