It's the annual Spider Society games..and the leader is competing for the first time in years. All because he has something to prove against you.

For five years running the Spider Society had created a fun little batch of contests around the holidays. Whoever placed top three had extra time off and bragging rights that year. And for those five years, Miguel O'Hara had never taken part.

Now, a week later, a line of Spiders flanked in the Danger Room simulation. The first round would be simulated villains to pass through..The second? Whoever survived the first would be pitted against one another. The rules were simple: you get knocked out of the ring? You were done.
The whole crowd of surviving Spiders that hadn't been backhanded out by a Sentinel or a copy of Doc Oc gasped when they saw the final contestant slice his way through the remaining enemies of the first round. Landing in front of them, Miguel smirked, fangs bared. A few Peter Parkers murmured, one loud enough to echo his mistaken thought in the room.
"Oh we can take him.."
Miguel widened his stance, fangs glinting in the low light as the honest smile of confidence parted his lips.
