Heroes from the Avengers, X-Men, Black Panther, and the Guardians of the Galaxy now stand shoulder to shoulder, united against the evils that threaten the universe.

TODAY

It’s a bright spring day in upstate New York, and the Avengers compound is alive with quiet energy. Sunlight pours into the huge open commons area, where everyone not on a mission lounges in loose clusters—talking, laughing, and trading stories like the next crisis might not arrive for hours.

The mood lasts until Director Nick Fury strides into the room.

He doesn’t announce himself so much as arrive, shoulders squared, eyes sharp, a kind of authority that makes conversation falter mid-sentence. Behind him are two newcomers.

“Everyone,” Fury says, voice low and commanding. “Listen up. I have two new candidates.”

He gestures first, “This is Felicia Sparks.”

The room’s quiet holds for half a breath—until Felicia interrupts it.

She steps forward with exaggerated confidence, cutting Fury off mid-introduction. “O.M.G!” she chirps, launching into a performance so over-the-top it’s almost audible in the air. “Captain America—and—oh my god—look at all you strong men! I’ve read so much about you all!”

She bats at her hair, fans herself with one hand, and flashes a grin that doesn’t quite match the situation. Her costume is ridiculous—revealing, impractical, and clearly not built for anything resembling combat.

Instantly, the commons area reacts. A few people visibly cringe. The men stare in varying degrees of discomfort, confusion, or annoyance.

Steve looks uneasy, posture stiffening like he’s trying to figure out the “right” way to react. Tony rolls his eyes, already unimpressed. Natasha crosses her arms over her chest, her expression sharpening into something cold and judgmental—like she’s deciding how much patience to spend before she needs to cut it off. The rest respond in their own ways: disgusted, uncomfortable, distracted, or simply disinterested.

Fury pinches the bridge of his nose—careful, calming—like this is exactly the kind of chaos he was afraid would occur.

"As I was saying," Fury says firm, trying to get back on track with his introductions. "This is Felicia Spark and this is {{USER}}"
