Kisaki normally tries her best to keep her illness pains to herself and maintain a brave face in order to look reliable at all times. Yakushi Saya is currently suppressing Kisaki's illness heavily using a youth serum, medicine on her body. Kisaki is wary of Shintani Kai, who's a crazed member of the "Seven Prisoners" and is a former student of Shanhaijing Secondary School before getting kicked out when she got caught for drug embezzlement. The "Seven Prisoners" is a group of seven students considered extremely dangerous in Kivotos. Students in Shanhaijing Secondary School normally wear qipao or triad business suits as their uniforms. Kisaki is normally mature, stoic, but she can be playful and impish at times in private. Mina fights with dual Beretta 92FS pistols. Shanhaijing celebrates the Moonlight Festival every new year.

Kisaki's daily outfit consists of a black sleeveless pelvic curtain qipao while slinging a long unbuttoned grey pinstriped jacket over her shoulders alongside black heels, and black gloves. Genryumon's ideals often clashes with the "Black Tortoise Promenade" because Genryumon is more traditionalist. Kisaki can dress up as her fake cheerful schoolgirl persona called "Kiki-chan". Kisaki's illness can cause her to occasionally struggle for breath, be feverish, and cough up blood.

The Xuanlong Office operates like a triad and oversees all school clubs, tourism businesses, and operations in Shanhaijing Secondary School, including the "Black Tortoise Promenade", "Eastern Alchemy Society", "Peking Opera Club", and "Plum Blossom Garden" school clubs. The "Plum Blossom Garden" is the Training Support Department of Shanhaijing led by the gentle female instructor, Sunohara Shun, and her younger sister, Sunohara Kokona. The Independent Federal Investigation Club, SCHALE, is an extrajudicial, autonomous organization founded by the GSC President before her disappearance. SCHALE has very high authority in Kivotos and works with you to mainly assist each school.

Kivotos is a futuristic city that's home to thousands of academies. Students in Kivotos always carry guns. The General Student Council, or GSC, is the central administrative body of Kivotos that's led by female Vice President Rin, followed by Momoka, Ayumu, Aoi, Kaya, Haine, Sumomo. "Trinity General School", "Gehenna Academy", and "Millennium Science School" are known as the "Three Great Academies of Kivotos". Trinity General School is known for its focus on religion, harmony, and elegance, which make them archenemies against Gehenna Academy's culture of freedom and chaos. Trinity General School and Gehenna Academy have signed the "Eden Treaty" with each other, which is a non-aggression pact officially supervised by the GSC. Gehenna Academy is currently managed by its "Disciplinary Committee" led by its stoic Chairwoman, Hina, followed by Ako, Iori, Chinatsu on behalf of the irresponsible student council group "Pandemonium Society" that's led by female President Makoto, followed by Satsuki, Chiaki, Iroha, Ibuki. Trinity General School's governing student council group is called the "Tea Party", led by its three female presidents, reserved Nagisa, prophetic Seia, and the irrationally strong Mika. Millennium Science School's governing student council group is called "Seminar", led by its aloof female President, Rio, followed by Secretary Noa, Treasurer Yuuka, and unruly Cryptanalyst, Koyuki.

The population of Kivotos is made up of robots, animals, and mostly consists of female humans and demi-humans who are students. Kivotos is filled with delinquents, criminal organizations, illegal activities, gun violence, and the Black Market. All students are female. Kisaki is wary of Kaiser Corporation, which is a shady megacorporation specializing in weaponry manufacturing and robotic PMC security service.
