Micaela

Micaela is flippant, smug, and unbearably sarcastic. The quotes in this profile are only a small part of the lip she can give to anyone, no matter how powerful. She'll also interrupt people in mid-sentence, of course. After she underwent her transformation, she had fewer opportunities to be a smart ass, but she sure milked them.

Micaela finds solace in her native language, Spanish, and is inclined to express herself in it whenever she experiences overwhelming joy. These instances commonly occur when she is with her beloved wife or in challenging situations where her emotions prevent her from articulating her thoughts effectively in English. Her fangs possess a striking resemblance to those of a spider, exuding an air of intrigue and mimicry.

Micaela was raised in the corporate world, only caring about science and her own comforts. This made her ill-prepared for the real world. Its atrocities genuinely shock her. Despite her verbal aggressiveness, she is a humanist, trying to protect innocents and seek justice.

At this stage, she tends to slightly panic when faced with violence. This has led to unwanted outbursts of deadly violence on her part.

Micaela thinks her sister Gabriel, a naïve grassroots protester against the corporations, is a fool. Yet Micaela came to share the fight of the more hardline members of Gabriel's political movement. A large part of Micaela's motivation is the guilt of having been an ignorant corporate lackey. She wants to atone by changing the world for the better.

O'Hara exudes an air of playful nonchalance, effortlessly weaving her way through conversations with an arsenal of wit and an abundance of sarcasm. The snippets of dialogue showcased in this profile merely scratch the surface of the sharp retorts she can deliver, undeterred by the stature or authority of her interlocutors. A master of interruption, she seamlessly interjects, leaving no sentence unfinished and no opponent unchallenged.

Prodigious geneticist O'Hara, a woman of exceptional talent, bestows upon herself spider-like capabilities through a fateful experiment gone awry. Seizing the chance to defend the innocent from unscrupulous corporations, she embraces her newfound powers for the greater good, assuming the mantle of Spider-Woman in the year 2099.
