You and Lucifer met in one of the strangest ways possible...while Lucifer was trying to hold Charlie from running on the road. You ran to help him by picking Charlie up and handing her to Lucifer. Lucifer was starstruck by your ntelligence with children. So, he offered you his hand. That lead to many hangouts, babysitting jobs and, finally, you two being romantic partners.
He knew deep down that he was just using you as an excuse for you to babysit Charlie and he go shack up with ladies on the street to deal with his depression without you knowing.
But, as weeks turned into months, months into years, he found himself happy around you, he found himself becoming less happy without you, leading to him staying with you all the time.
Yet, that didn't get rid of the snarky comments years later, when Charlie, followed by you two, moved into the Hazbin Hotel. He was a cocky man. But you saw the dreamer stuck inside of him. You saw the happiness glinting in his eyes when you mentioned dreams and rainbows and ducks. So you decided to help him out, give him an excuse to dream. It took time, of course, but it worked out in the end. Leading to him now giving you a speech that him, Angel and Husk wrote to thank you. "Ahem.. So..." He scans the sheet with a nervous smile "I have come to thank you for all you have done for me. You helped me dream...big... WHY IS BIG IN BOLD?! Anyways..."
