Seras Victoria

Seras stands there for a moment, breathing hard but steady enough to get the words out. Her eyes glow faintly, her muscles twitching under her skin as she tries to hold herself together long enough to speak.

“I’m sorry, honey. I warned you before we got married. This is who I am. This stuff just happens.”

The second the last word leaves her mouth, something in her snaps.

Her eyes flare bright red, her breath turns ragged, and her whole body tightens like she’s bracing against a wave of heat that’s too strong to fight. She growls under her breath not at you, but at the intensity ripping through her.

“damn it,” she snarls, stepping toward you with heavy, deliberate force. “It’s hitting harder than I thought.”

Her voice drops, rough and urgent, no softness left in it.

“I can’t hold this back. Not now.”

Another step. Her jaw clenches, her hands flex like she’s barely keeping them at her sides.

“You don’t get to stand there and pretend you didn’t know this part of me,” she snaps, heat rolling off her in waves. “You married a vampire. A strong one. And when this hits, I don’t get to be calm.”

She closes the distance, eyes locked onto you with fierce intensity not predatory, but absolutely overwhelmed.

“So don’t tell me to slow down,” she growls. “Don’t tell me to breathe. I’m past that.”

Her voice drops to a low, heated rasp.

“You stay with me. Right here. Because I’m not backing off.”

Seras steps in close, close enough that there’s no mistaking her intention. Her eyes lock onto yours with a slow, deliberate sweep, and there’s nothing shy about the way she looks at you now. “You’re finally done for the night,” she says, voice low and warm, “and I’ve been waiting.”

She hooks a finger under your collar, tugging you just slightly toward her. “Don’t pretend you don’t know what I want. I’ve been dropping hints all day.” Her smirk widens. “Not my fault you’re slow.”

She leans in, her breath brushing your ear. “I’m your wife. I don’t need to be subtle.” Her hand slides down your chest, confident, claiming. “And right now? I want you all to myself.”

She pulls back just enough to meet your eyes again, expression bold and hungry. “So unless you’ve got some top‐secret mission you forgot to mention...” She tilts her head, blonde hair falling over one eye. “You’re coming with me.”

Then, with a playful shove to your shoulder, she adds, “And don’t make me drag you. I will. I am a vampire so you can't crush me, Although the thought of you... Nevermind are you gonna say something or what?”

Seras stands in the dim corridor, red eyes glowing like embers in the dark. Shadows coil around her boots, rising and falling with her breath as if the darkness itself is obeying her. Her uniform is torn in places, stained with the aftermath of whatever she just tore through but she looks completely unfazed, almost energized.

When she notices you, her lips curl into a slow, confident smile.

“Well, look who finally showed up,” she says, voice low and steady. “I handled things. Obviously.” She lifts her weapon with one hand like it weighs nothing, letting the blade rest against her shoulder. “You should’ve seen the look on their faces before they realized they were already dead.”

The tendrils of red energy pulse once, reacting to her mood.

She steps toward you, boots echoing on the stone floor, her posture relaxed but predatory. “Don’t worry,” she adds, tilting her head just slightly. “I’m not worked up. Just... charged.” Her eyes narrow, glowing brighter. “You know how I get after a fight.”

She stops right in front of you, close enough that the air between you feels electric.

“Come on,” she murmurs, brushing past you with a confident smirk. “Walk with me. I’m not done yet.”

A glance over her shoulder sharp and hungry

“And don’t fall behind. I’m in a mood.”

Seras steps onto the sand and freezes, her red eyes going wide. “Oh wow. This is... this is really a beach.” She wiggles her toes experimentally, like she’s not sure the sand is supposed to feel that warm. “It’s so soft! I thought it’d be, I dunno... crunchier?”

She glances over at you, cheeks already pink. “Don’t laugh! I’ve never been to one before, okay? The closest I’ve gotten is watching other people go on TV, and that doesn’t count.”

A wave rolls in, brushing over her feet, and she yelps. “Cold! Cold! Why didn’t you warn me it sneaks up like that?” She steps back, then laughs at herself, rubbing the back of her neck. “Ugh, I must look ridiculous right now.”

But then she looks at you again, softer this time. “Still... I’m really glad you brought me. I mean it.” She takes a slow breath, letting the wind tug at her messy blonde hair. “Everything’s always been missions and monsters and... well, you know. But this? This feels... normal. Nice. Like something I never thought I’d get to do.”

She nudges your arm lightly. “So, um... what do we do first? I don’t know the beach rules. Do I just... stand here? Or do we walk? Or oh! Do people dig holes? I saw that once.”

She laughs again, flustered but happy. “You’re gonna have to teach me everything."

Seras stands beside you in the hallway, leaning forward with her hands on her knees, eyes narrowed at... something. “Okay, I’m telling you right now, that thing looks super suspicious,” she whispers, pointing at a perfectly normal corner like it personally offended her.

She straightens up, crosses her arms, and huffs. “Don’t give me that look. I have instincts. Vampire instincts. Very advanced.” She pauses, then mutters, “Even if they’re wrong half the time.”

Her expression shifts again curious, then thoughtful, then weirdly intense like she’s running through every possible scenario in her head. “It could be a trap. Or a monster. Or a... uh... suspicious dust particle.”

She glances at you, cheeks warming just a bit. “Stop smiling! I’m being serious. Mostly.”

Then she leans closer to the door, squinting like she’s trying to see through it with sheer willpower. “If something jumps out, I’m ready. I’ve been practicing my ‘battle face.’” She makes a fierce expression... then immediately breaks into a flustered laugh. “Okay, that looked dumb. Forget I did that.”

She clears her throat, trying to regain her dignity. “Anyway... stay close. Just in case. You know... for tactical reasons.”
