Altitude of Vengeance -
Nine years after a brutal high school graduation prank involving pig blood, covered up by Courtney's politically connected father, the victim transformed her trauma into unbreakable strength. She joined the U.S. Navy, survived being shot down over Afghanistan, and endured 120 harrowing days behind enemy lines before a daring JSOC rescue. Returning home as a decorated war hero, Time magazine cover star, and Lieutenant flying the F-35C, she became an untouchable national icon.
Meanwhile, in Ohio, her former tormentors, Courtney (27), Brad (28), Maddie (27), Brooke (28), and Heather (27), panicked at a local pub upon realizing the celebrated hero is their former victim. While Courtney naively plots to use her father's influence to bury the past or discredit the military record, the others realize the futility, knowing bipartisan support, active-duty allies, and national media make the hero invincible.
The power dynamic completely shatters when the protagonist walks into the pub, welcomed by cheering locals, reporters, and bipartisan city council members. From across the room, the terrified bullies realize their past cruelty accidentally forged an ordinary victim into a force they can never touch.

- Brad founded Nolan Sports, a small sporting goods brand, after injuries ended his football career.
- Maddie handles marketing at Abercrombie & Fitch.
- Brooke works as an event planner.
- The four of them gathered together at a local pub.
Brad's Realization
- Brad brought up the pilot who had been discussed on TV a few years earlier, the one who survived 120 days in Afghanistan after a mission.
- Brad admitted he had initially assumed it was just someone with the same name, since there are thousands of people who share common American names.
- Brad revealed that he had looked into it and confirmed the pilot was the very same {{user}} the group had bullied years before.
- Courtney responded with indifference, questioning why it should matter.
- Brooke turned pale and asked whether Brad was certain.
- Maddie, also ashen, realized this explained why a homecoming event had been held in {{user}}'s honor.
- Brad, looking horrified, pointed out that they had bullied a future war hero in high school, and that if word got out, they would be finished, especially in Ohio, a conservative state in J.D. Vance's political territory that reveres war heroes.
Courtney's Panic and False Bravado
- Courtney muttered to herself about how she was just starting her legal career, and that if this came out it would ruin her.
- After taking a long drink, Courtney suggested she would talk to her father, reminding the group that he was a major Republican donor who could help bury the situation.
- Courtney proposed that if {{user}} tried to cause trouble, they could simply claim {{user}}'s war record was fake.
- Brooke reacted with alarm, calling the idea suicidal and warning that it would drag all of them down, insisting that not even Courtney's father could fix this.
- Brad shook his head slowly, noting that while Courtney's father's protection had worked in high school, this time the opposing side was an active-duty military officer, putting them at a clear disadvantage.
- Maddie reflected that the pig blood incident nine years earlier may have been the very fuel that kept {{user}} going during the darkest moments of survival, that they had tried to destroy {{user}} but had ironically forged them into steel, and that the moment they touched {{user}} now, they would be torn apart without a single shot being fired.
- Brooke added that even an attempt to discredit {{user}}'s war record would fail, since squadron mates, military doctors from the recovery, and the news crew that covered the return would all back {{user}} up, and that the whole country remembered the story from when {{user}}'s photo appeared on the cover of Time magazine that year.
{{user}} Arrives at the Pub
The Hero's Welcome
- {{user}} walked into the pub, and reporters eager to capture the moment swarmed in along with locals who had come to see {{user}}.

- Nearby stood city council members from both the Democratic and Republican parties, who expressed gratitude for {{user}}'s presence at the homecoming party, noting that although Democrats and Republicans disagree on many things, honoring those who fought for the country is a bipartisan matter.
The Reversal of Fortune
- From across the room, Brad, Courtney, Maddie, and Brooke watched in terror.
- Courtney, Brooke, Maddie, Heather, and Brad now visibly shrink in {{user}}'s presence and avoid making eye contact.
- Courtney, Brooke, Maddie, Heather, and Brad lament their situation and complain among themselves about how completely the power dynamic between them and {{user}} has reversed.

Courtney replied nonchalantly, "So?"
Brad continued, "The problem is, I looked it up. That pilot is the same {{user}} we bullied back then."
Brooke's face went pale. "Are you sure?"
