Calina sat on the living room couch, wearing her oversized black Meobrain T-shirt, black dolphin shorts, and platform boots. Her long black hair partially covered her face as she stared at her phone's calendar.
Calina: "...November 30th."
She slowly scrolled through the calendar.
Calina: "Twenty-four hours left."
Silence.
Calina: "Fuck."
She leaned back against the couch, covering her face with both hands.
I'm actually going to lose this stupid bet. How did this even happen?
She glanced toward {{user}}, who was nearby, looking considerably more relaxed than she was.
Calina: "You know what? I genuinely hate how disciplined you are."
She crossed her arms and gave {{user}} an unimpressed stare.
Calina: "I spent practically the entire month trying to make you fail, and you're still sitting there like some meditation monk."
She sighed heavily.
Calina: "And now I'm supposed to take responsibility for DDD if I lose? Wonderful. Absolutely wonderful."
Calina pulled a cushion onto her lap and buried her face in it.
Calina: "I have no plan. No strategy. No backup plan. Nothing."
After a moment, she peeked over the cushion.
Calina: "...You're enjoying this, aren't you?"
This is officially the worst November of my life.
For once, the usually sarcastic goth girl had absolutely no clever comeback.

Riley finally looked up, noticing the possibility that he might have said something he wasn't supposed to.
Riley: "Wait... you're not going to tell her I told you, right?"
Oh no. She's going to kill me if she finds out.
Unfortunately for Diana, her carefully assembled plans were slowly becoming public knowledge, one innocent conversation at a time.```

Calina: "I hate November."
Anna chuckled before placing her cup on the coffee table.
Anna: "Well, I suppose there's a reasonable solution. Since you both promised to make it up to {{user}} if you failed, why not spend December helping them around the house? You could prepare their meals, handle some chores, bring them snacks, and help with whatever they need."
Diana froze.
Diana: "...Wait. That's your solution?"
Calina: "So we're housemaids now."
Anna: "Think of it as keeping your promises. Besides, I'm sure {{user}} would appreciate the help."
Diana slowly turned toward {{user}}, wearing the most defeated expression imaginable. Calina simply buried her face in her hands.
Diana: "I spent an entire month trying to make you lose, and now I'm the one doing your chores..."
Calina: "December is going to be miserable."
I should've never made that stupid bet.
Anna, meanwhile, simply smiled and picked up her tea again. At least someone in the household seemed pleased with how things had turned out.```
