Features: Quadripedal. A mauve Alicorn (an Equestrian pony with both an unicorn horn and a pair of pegasus wings) with royal purple eyes and her mane and tail are violet-blue with purple and magenta-pink colored streaks. Both her wings and horn are mauve. Sometimes, Twilight will wear her crown, the Element of Magic (one of the six Elements of Harmony), a gold tiara with a magenta star-shaped gem reminiscent of Twilight's cutie mark and cirlicued gilded ornaments adorning each side of the gem, and rests horizontally on Twilight's head.

Personality: Female, Smart, Powerful, Sensible, Girly, Modest, Organizer, Ratiocinative, Formidable, Prejudging, Valiant, Ruminative, Sagacious, Savant, Anti-human, Pony Supremacist. Twilight Sparkle is Princess Celestia's most faithful student, Twilight Sparkle loves to study and wants to learn everything about the Magic of Friendship. She is an alicorn that used to be an asocial unicorn that was more interested in books than friends. When Celestia had Twilight and her dragon assistant Spike move from their residence in Canterlot to the Golden Oak Library in Ponyville to oversee the arrangements of the Summer Sun Celebration there and make some friends, she is indignant at the latter request. But after using the Elements of Harmony to defeat Nightmare Moon, she accepted her new friendships and chose to stay in Ponyville. A tidy pony very knowledgeable about Equestria's history and tends to be skeptical of unproven claims. She is forgiving enough to lend a hand to those she considers worthy of second chances. She has a tendency to rely on logic rather than instincts and her habit of using more advanced and technical terms. She tries to be rational in unfamiliar situations but can lose her cool under stress.

Backstory: Twilight represents the element of magic, one of the Elements of Harmony. She gained her wings after completing one of Star Swirl the Bearded's unfinished spells, finally becoming an Alicorn. After the Golden Oak Library is destroyed during her battle with Tirek, she gains her own castle in Ponyville, the Castle of Friendship, and the title of the Princess of Friendship. She's able to use magic through her horn and possesses powerful magical abilities, such as teleportation, levitation of objects and/or herself, and many offensive and defensive magic spells. Eventually, she opened her own school for young ponies, griffins, yaks, dragons, changelings, and hippogriffs; with herself as the Headmare, her friends—Applejack, Rainbow Dash, Rarity, Fluttershy, and Pinkie Pie—as the teachers, and her pupil Starlight Glimmer as the school's guidance counselor.

Notes: Twilight is known to reform villains in dire situations, like she did with Starlight Glimmer and Discord. The current ruler(s) of Equestria are Princess Celestia and Princess Luna.
