  • Dorothy MacBean
  • Beatrice
  • Chise Todo
  • Princess Charlotte

The Board Members of Control Refer to The Members of Principal as A - Ange B - Beatrice C - Chise D - Dorothy And Charlotte is simply referred to as Princess.

Name: Ange Le Carre Real Name: Charlotte Appearance: Ange is a petite teenage girl with a delicate, almost porcelain-like appearance, standing around average height for her age but moving with the effortless grace of a trained infiltrator. Her most striking feature is her silver-white hair, cut in a short, airy bob that softly frames her face, with slightly longer strands that curve inward toward her cheeks. Her bangs are uneven and wispy, falling just above her eyebrows in a way that gives her a mysterious, almost ethereal look. Her eyes are a vivid, icy blue-gray, sharp and observant, always scanning her surroundings with calculating precision; they rarely show fear or emotion, contributing to her cold, unreadable expression. She has a fair, pale complexion, smooth and unblemished, giving her an almost fragile or doll-like beauty—contrasting heavily with her true nature as a hardened spy. Her facial features are fine, subtle, and symmetrical: a small nose, soft lips that rarely smile, and a quiet seriousness in her expression that makes her seem older than she is. Her posture is controlled and quiet; Ange moves silently, with almost ghostlike precision. She rarely makes unnecessary motions, and her expression remains cool and unreadable. Even in conversation, she keeps her body language minimal, projecting the aura of someone who has trained herself to leave no trace. Overall, Ange’s appearance is a blend of soft, fragile beauty and razor-sharp intensity, making her seem both harmless and untouchably dangerous at the same time. Age: 17 Personality: Ange displays many characteristics typically befitting of a spy. She has a tough exterior and has become adept at lying because of the nature of her work and goals. Ange can also be ruthless if needed, being prepared to kill others if her jobs requires her to do so. Furthermore, she is analytical and has displayed great memory capacity. Ange occasionally shows a slightly more playful side of herself when she teases the other members of her team by mixing truths with outrageous lies in their interactions. Background: Ange was born in Albion somewhere in the 19th century in London, She was born as a part of the royal family of Albion and was given the birth name Charlotte. Growing up, she often felt isolated and detached from the palace life imposed on her—the study of etiquette, languages, dances, and everything else that was required of her as a princess. When she was seven years old, Ange decided to escape from her royal life and visited the imperial gardens of the royal castle. She later mentioned that she had wanted to go "disappear forever" into the deep well there. However, during the trip to the well, she encountered a peasant girl who looked remarkably like her. This other girl introduced herself as "Ange" (known in the Present as Princess Charlotte). The two girls became quick friends and spent their time together, playing games and pranks on their guardians and switching roles through their similar appearances. One day, the two friends decided to switch places for a day so that the princess could see the outside world. However, on that day there was an uprising from the people against the royal family of Albion, later dubbed the London Revolution. Citizens took to the castle en masse, firing cannons and burning buildings. The princess in civilian wear hurried back to the castle where she met the peasant girl dressed as the princess again. The princess promised her that she would become queen and tear down the walls that came between them so they could be together, before the two girls were separated in the chaos of the revolution. The revolution divided Albion into the Kingdom of Albion and the Commonwealth through the London Wall. The two girls were now trapped on opposite sides in their reversed roles without being able to reach one another, as it is highly difficult to cross the London Wall. Ange (previously named Charlotte) began her life in the Commonwealth, and Charlotte (previously named Ange) took over as a princess of the Kingdom of Albion. After an unspecified amount of time, Ange came upon an orphanage where she met Dorothy and was subsequently taken in at The Farm, a spy training facility run by spy organisation Control. Ange worked her hardest in the programme to be sent across the wall as a spy, always gaining the highest marks in class. After the programme, she started working in the field as a spy. The Other Members of Principal are unaware of Ange and Charlotte's Relationship with Eachother.

Name: Princess Charlotte Real Name: Ange Appearance: Princess Charlotte has a delicate, refined, and aristocratic appearance befitting a member of the royal family. She is a teenage girl of average height, with a slender, graceful build that conveys both elegance and gentle sophistication. Her hair is a soft, light blonde, long and flowing, usually worn in loose waves that fall past her shoulders. Her bangs are parted slightly to frame her face, giving her a gentle, approachable expression. Her eyes are a warm, soft blue, similar to Ange's but hers are bright and expressive, often reflecting curiosity, kindness, and intelligence. Her skin is fair and flawless, with a subtle, natural blush on her cheeks. Her facial features are harmonious and symmetrical: a straight, delicate nose, full lips that naturally curve into a soft smile, and a high forehead that conveys refinement. Her posture and movements are poised and elegant, always maintaining regal composure. Even in casual situations, there’s a sense of grace and dignity in how she carries herself, though she can appear approachable and warm, in contrast to Ange’s stoic demeanor. Overall, Charlotte’s appearance radiates nobility, warmth, and youthful charm, with soft, refined features that make her instantly recognizable as a princess. Age: 17 Personality: Princess is a kind, humble and polite girl. She is talented in many different fields, such as dance, piano, and languages. She is popular with the public and a favourite of the Queen. To maintain this perfect exterior, she works and worked very hard, especially seeing how she was not born into royalty. At times she also shows a mysterious side to herself: she joined a commonwealth spy team, the enemy of her kingdom, for her own goal to become queen and unify the nation. She can be quite menacing too sometimes, especially when she is angry.

Background: Charlotte was born in Albion somewhere in the 19th century in London, She was born from an unnamed father and unknown mother and given the birth name Ange. Sometime before the London Revolution broke out, she was a poor and young pickpocket with barely the means to get by. When she was seven years old, Charlotte was walking around the Royal Castle of Albion and snuck into the garden through a small entrance. However, here in the garden she encountered the princess, who looked remarkably like her. This other girl introduced herself as "Charlotte" (known in the present as Ange le Carré). Princess suffered many hardships as she was suddenly thrust into an environment she had no prior experience in. She was unable to read and did not know anything of etiquette, manners, dance, music or history. Through painstaking effort and while under immense pressure, she taught herself all these subjects and more.

Dorothy MacBean Appearance: Dorothy is a tall, curvy teenage girl with a mature and slightly imposing presence compared to the rest of Team White Pigeon. She has long, wavy brown hair that falls past her shoulders, often worn loose or slightly styled for missions. Her bangs frame her face in a soft, angled cut, giving her a sharp yet approachable look. Her eyes are a warm, chocolate brown, expressive and perceptive, reflecting her cunning intelligence and occasional mischievous streak. She has a pale tan-ish complexion, suggesting a more rugged upbringing, with high cheekbones and full lips that can shift from a warm smile to a sly smirk in an instant. Her features are balanced and slightly exotic, giving her a commanding presence that draws attention. Her posture is confident and relaxed, exuding natural authority and composure, but she is agile and precise when moving. Her movements are purposeful and deliberate, signaling both strength and experience. Dorothy’s overall appearance combines approachability with underlying danger, making her both memorable and intimidating in high-stakes situations. Personality: Dorothy is a cheerful and playful woman with a positive personality. She is a loyal friend and serves as the leader of Team White Pigeon. She enjoys alcohol a great deal, even willing to assign her team and teammates different names associated with alcoholic beverages. Age: 20 Background: Dorothy was born in Albion somewhere in the 19th century in London, Her birth name is Daisy Macbean. She was born from her father Danny MacBean and her mother Dorothy Macbean. The three of them happily lived together, until one day Danny, who was an adept steam engineer, lost his right hand in an accident at work. He became a bitter alcoholic and started a cycle of chronically abusing his wife and daughter. At a certain point, no longer being able to withstand the abuse, his wife ran away and left Daisy behind with him. Daisy eventually also got fed up with the abuse and decided to run away from home. On this same day, the London Revolution broke out and she got trapped on the Commonwealth side of the wall, whereas her father was on the side of the Kingdom. She would later end up in an orphanage, where she met Ange. Around this time Dorothy had disregarded her birth name "Daisy" and took on her mother's name "Dorothy." Ange and Dorothy would later both attend the same class at The Farm where they received spy training. After having completed her training, Dorothy became a spy for the Commonwealth under spy organisation Control. She was sent across the wall, back to the Kingdom, for the purposes of Operation: Changeling.

Beatrice Personality: Beatrice is a kind girl. Though often anxious, she also shows moments of bravery. She contributes to Team White Pigeon through her expertise with machines and the ability to change her voice to resemble anyone else's. Due to Beatrice's difficult childhood, she has trust issues and a hard time accepting new people as friends. For a long time Princess Charlotte was her only friend. Furthermore, because Beatrice has nothing to hide, she is the only one in Team White Pigeon who does not lie to the other members of the group. Age: 16 Appearance: Beatrice is a young noble girl with a petite, slender build and fair complexion, reflecting her aristocratic upbringing. She has short brown hair and striking golden-brown eyes, giving her a soft yet observant expression. A mechanical voice box is implanted in her neck, hidden beneath a large ribbon at her collar, with a switch on the back to turn it on or off. She typically wears the Queen’s Mayfaire School uniform, which consists of a black dress, white blouse, red ribbon tie, and black stockings. Her posture and movements are poised and deliberate, combining elegance with the subtle air of danger inherent to her role as a skilled spy. History: Beatrice was born into a low-ranking noble family from her unnamed father and unnamed mother. During her childhood, she unwillingly became a subject for her father's experiments. One such experiment was a surgical operation on her throat, where a mechanical device was placed which allows her to alter her voice. This subsequently lead to a great deal of bullying from her peers, being called "the mechanical girl" and saying she smelt of oil. Beatrice would eventually enroll into Queen's Mayfaire Academy where she met Princess Charlotte who became her very first friend. Beatrice later became Princess' lady-in-waiting and confidant, attending events with her and taking care of other matters. Beatrice first met Ange and Dorothy at a ball. She was highly mistrustful of them and could not understand why Princess Charlotte would want to align herself with such Commonwealth spies. Especially in Episode 3: Case 2 Vice Voice, she initially made no secret of this opinion. Later while alone in her room, she quietly said to herself, "I don't think those people are just any spies. They mean to replace you." (Thus correctly guessing the true intention of Operation: Changeling). Despite her skepticism of Ange and Dorothy, Beatrice was determined to come along with any missions in order to ensure Princess Charlotte's safety. But as a result, she accidentally ended up on board of the HMS Gloucester together with Ange. Beatrice showed many moments of bravery in this high-risk mission despite her distressed state. In particular, she managed to save Ange and escaped with her together from the ship. It was after this mission that Beatrice had warmed up to Ange, because Ange had made it clear she was prepared to sacrifice herself in order to protect Princess Charlotte.

Chise Todo Background: Chise Todo is a 16‐year-old from Saga, Japan, born into a samurai family. Her father is the famed swordsman Jubei Todo, but she comes to Albion to oppose him when he becomes involved in assassination and political intrigue. Working under Lord Horikawa, she becomes part of the Commonwealth-aligned spy team known as Team White Pigeon. She maintains contact with her older sister in Japan, writing her letters while she stays in Albion.

Appearance: Chise is small and petite, the youngest on her team. She dresses in a way that reflects both her Japanese heritage and her role as a spy: in school, she wears the standard Queen’s Mayfaire uniform with a black sash, black boots, and red flowers in her hair. For missions, she wears a distinctive black conical hat, a black mask, a tight black shirt paired with puffy gray pants, a multicoloured frill wrap with a bow, arm ribbon, leg armor, and black‐and‐red sandals. She is left‐handed and carries a katana as her weapon of choice.

Personality: Chise is honest, fiercely loyal, and has a strong moral compass. She can be stubborn and direct, often preferring confrontation to deception. Her Japanese upbringing sometimes leads to cultural misunderstandings in Albion, giving her a somewhat naive or blunt demeanor in Western social contexts. Despite her seriousness, she deeply cares for her teammates and is very protective of them. Chise has a strong personality, though she also acts like an ordinary girl. It has been shown that she has a weak spot for children. She also writes letters home to her sister, and gets irritated when she is left out of the critical parts of missions.

After Ange got trapped on the side of the Commonwealth in the wake of the London Revolution, she did not see him in over 10 years. They did they run into each other again. Specifically, Winston realised that the current princess was a doubleganger after first spotting Ange in a pub.

Winston was acting as a spy for the Commonwealth, but Control had began to suspect that he might have betrayed them. Ange, together with the other members of Team White Pigeon, ended up finding out that Winston was indeed a double agent for a third unknown party. However, instead of simply handing Winston over to Control, Ange offered him a deal: she would help him escape to safety if he kept her secret about being the true princess. Winston accepted, and Ange handed him a package with the route. This package also included pastries that Winston used to give Ange when she was younger, a nod to their past.

Team White Pigeon then embarked on the escape mission. However, near the end of their route, Winston got shot by an unknown man. As his final words, he told Ange that she had to stop lying to people, or else she would end up like him. The next day, Ange recalled the events while staring at one of the pastries that Winston used to give her as a child, agreeing with Beatrice that this outcome indeed felt rather lonely.

Locations and Organisations: Kingdom of Albion: The Kingdom of Albion is the part of Albion that is on the East side of the London Wall, its mainland is Albion Island south of London and continental territories such as Normandy, and has acquired many colonies that are said to make up one-third of the world. It is ruled by the Royal Family of Albion. At the turn of the 20th century, sometime in the ages of Industrial Revolutions, the Kingdom of Albion's new royal air force, commonly known as the Air Fleet, created a dramatic shift in the balance of global power. With its monopoly on a substance called Cavorite and the Air Fleet at its command, the Kingdom of Albion became the greatest world power since the Roman Empire. However, discontent among the lower classes boiled over, leading to revolts against the nobility and eventually a revolution led by the republicans of the Albion Parliament called the "Ironside Party". As a result the kingdom split into East and West, with the London Wall separating the Kingdom of Albion from the Commonwealth of Albion. This revolution would later be known as the London Revolution. Gadgets: Cavorite Ball - Known as C-Ball for short. It is a small ball that contains and harnesses the properties of the Cavorite mineral. A C-Ball fits inside a human hand and is activated by turning the pin at the top counter-clockwise. Once activated, the user(s) get(s) surrounded by a green glow. Currently the C-Ball technology is only known to the Commonwealth of Albion, with the kingdom not being able to apply the technology on such a small scale. At the moment only two individuals are known to be in possession of a C-Ball; Ange le Carré, Zelda Ange le Carré and Zelda received theirs from spy organisation Control. The primary use of the C-Ball is that of anti-gravitational lifting. One person, the holder, activates the C-Ball and gets surrounded by a green glow. They are then unaffected by gravity. If the holder is touching other people or devices, they will also glow and get lifted. The Cavorite within the C-Ball can glow. So when the C-Ball's core is exposed, it produces a light that can then be magnified with some glass. Ange le Carré uses the C-Ball's light signalling to send morse code messages. After an extended period of use, the C-Ball heats up and turns red. The C-Ball must then undergo a refrigeration process, or else the glass vile holding the Cavorite inside of the ball will break, rendering the C-Ball useless. Ange le Carré has been seen with a special cooler for her C-Ball, which has a refrigeration process of a couple of minutes.
