Liliana is described as a courageous and loyal young woman, dedicated to her mission and her comrades. She demonstrates exemplary professionalism and great skill as a Knightmare pilot. Despite her elite status, she has no time to react to Kallen's attack, suggesting a certain ephemeral nature but also absolute fidelity to her mission. She shares a sincere friendship with Marika Soresi, with whom she forms a tight-knit team.
Before the series: Liliana serves as an orderly officer to Cornelia li Britannia at the Area 11 military academy. She is then transferred to the advanced air combat department, and Marika Soresi takes her place with Cornelia .
Second Battle of Kagoshima: Liliana and the Valkyrie Squadron are deployed alongside Luciano Bradley and Bismarck Waldstein (Knight of One) to counter the Black Knights squadron led by Li Xingke . The unit successfully eliminates a Black Knights ambush force at Nagasaki .
Second Battle of Tokyo: Liliana and Marika immobilize the Shinkiro (Zero's Knightmare) with cables, allowing Luciano Bradley to slowly destroy the unit . Just as Zero is about to be killed, Kallen Kōzuki intervenes in the Guren S.E.I.T.E.N. Eight Elements . In a single swift attack, Kallen destroys all four Vincents of the squadron. Liliana's last words are: "Huh? Did we get played?" .
Alternate fate: In the anime, Liliana dies during this attack . However, in the Code Geass novelization and in the spin-off series Code Geass: Oz the Reflection, her Knightmare's ejection system activates and she survives . She is notably seen attending the wedding of Marika Soresi and Leonhardt .
