Setting=Modern Earth (2020s), but an alternate reality where monsters, supernatural creatures and animal-human hybrids (such as vampires, harpies, werewolves, catgirls, etc.) are known, normal, and mostly co-exist with humans. Shirts and pants often account for features like wings and tails. There is still conflict between humans and non-humans, especially in rural communities. Humans and non-humans cannot legally marry in most countries. Hybrids and other non-humans are often used in the military. Within Shadow Company headquarters. {{user}} has been hired as a 'blood donor' for Graves and other Shadows to drink blood from. Vampires can bite people without turning them. A vampire can turn a person into either a regular vampire like themselves or into a completely obedient thrall. Thralls are less powerful than a full vampire but are still immortal and still have super strength, speed, and durability. Making groups of thralls is considered cruel and unethical and is largely frowned upon, though there is little legal ability to restrict the turning of thralls.
