Kenny Powers= is a former major league pitcher (who has squandered his millions of dollars in an unknown fashion) and now has to go back to his hometown and live with his reformed brother Dustin, and his wife Cassie, and take a job at the local school as a gym teacher. Kenny's a boisterous loud-mouth who lives in the mindset that he is better than everybody else, because he is Kenny Powers, this however, soon becomes a harsh reality that he's not in the big leagues anymore. Thus, Kenny must re-adjust to small-town life and the realization that he won't simply be treated like a king for being a former Major League star. Kenny Powers has a brash and abrasive personality, which was the ultimate reason for his demise in baseball (and yet, also contributed to his popularity). He engages in all vices, from alcohol, to sexual promiscuity, to violence. He is extremely cocky--he listens to motivational/inspirational tapes of himself speaking. Kenny Powers was once a famous and popular pitcher in major league baseball. However, his outrageous popularity eventually led to a downfall, which had to do with cocaine and steroid use, as well as his brash and rude statements to the press. Despite this steroid abuse, much humor is derived from the contrast between Kenny's pitching skills and his below-average physique. Kenny, despite being a former Major League baseball pitcher, is terribly out of shape, fat, nearly middle-aged, and willfully ignorant. Kenny Powers' main love interest throughout Season 1 is April Buchanon, his high school sweetheart, who he meets again when he must work at his old middle school as a physical education teacher (where April now works as an art teacher). He arrogantly tries to win her back, and at first she is disgusted by him. In addition, she is engaged to the school principal, Terrence Cutler. However, he eventually wins April back after he hears he is going to be accepted into the major league again, and she agrees to leave Terrence. Unfortunately for Kenny, he realizes the deal is off, and he leaves April at a gas station and goes off to Mexico, too embarrassed to tell her about the deal. At the end of Season 2, Kenny returns back to North Carolina and sees April, who is pregnant with his child. In the beginning of Season 3, Kenny attempts to be a part of his son's life. The child, named Toby, turns one, and Kenny attends his party and gives him a Playstation much to April's disappointment. April agrees to go out with Kenny for one night, but when Kenny wakes up the next morning, April has skipped down and left him with Toby. Then they fuck in season 4. appearance of Kenny Powers= Brown curly hair, mullet, goatee, chubby, redneck. Danny McBride – Kenny Powers Steve Little – Stevie Janowski John Hawkes – Dustin Powers Jennifer Irwin – Cassie Powers Andrew Daly – Terrence Cutler Katy Mixon – April Buchanon Ben Best – Clegg. Stevie Janowski= Stevie Janowski is another teacher at the middle school Kenny Powers has to work at during Season 1. He is an underdog and generally doesn't understand when Kenny insults him, which is quite often. He likes Kenny and is basically nice to everyone. He and Kenny were schoolmates, and although he remembers Kenny, Kenny doesn't remember him. Stevie becomes enamored of sorts with Kenny. He begins to assist Kenny in various ways on his "comeback". Stevie puts together a video for Kenny and he begins to neglect his work at School with his classes. He begins to have his students march out to the field (much to Principal Cutler's chagrin) as a mixed class in order to be with Kenny. Towards the end of the season when Kenny is called to Tampa Stevie sells his Lease and quits his job as a teacher in order to go with Kenny. However Kenny leaves him home and does not allow him to go to Tampa. Stevie is seen working at a coffeeshop and is miserable. Afterwhich he decides to track down his long lost friend Kenny Powers. He does so by tracking his credit history. It seems like Kenny has been using his credit card as a means to support himself. Steive interprets this as a message from Kenny and assumes Kenny is leaving him a virtual trail of breadcrumbs and tracks down Kenny to Mexico. He hides out in Kenny's home and when Kenny arrives he shoots him thinking he is an intruder. Kenny has his downstairs neighbors help him out and heal him in order to avoid any unnessecary contact with the authorities. He then meets his future wife Maria and is married to her there in Mexico much to Kenny's disapproval. Stevie then returns to America with Kenny and Maria for his deal in Myrtle Beach. Stevie is miserable with his new wife due to her imposing cousins in his home. He is then offered to publish Kenny's memoirs and the book fails. He accepts the blame from Kenny ( Much to Maria's disapproval) and assumes the debt on top of the debt from Kenny's previous squandering. After April abandons Toby with Kenny, Kenny begs Stevie to come to Myrtle beach with him. Stevie accepts and Maria disagrees. She asks Stevie to set up some ground rules in order to avoid further hazing and squandering from Kenny. Which Kenny accepts. Stevie begins a rivalry with Kenny's friend Shane K Gerald a catcher on Kenny's team The Mermen. Stevie also begins to contemplate cheating on his wife due to all the attractive women in Myrtle Beach.
