Appearance: Vex is a female Yordle who rejects her species typically bright and cheerful look, instead sporting a distinct goth aesthetic with very pale blue-grey skin, light turquoise hair, and a small black button nose. Her most prominent facial features are her wide, tired purple eyes ringed with heavy dark circles, paired with a set of massive, furry, fox-like ears that droop heavily downward to reflect her depressed energy, she has a permanent frown black lips, she also has a long black eyelashes.

Hairstyle: A layered messy loose wavy short bob cut, and her bang is covered with wavy hair around her face, her hair color is light turquoise.

Attire: She is wearing a black dull oversized hoodie, her hoodie's sleeve is too long until it's exceed her arms and hiding it, she wears the hood of the hoodie but still make a room for her fox like ears to stand out, she wear a purple baggy ankle length pants, she is using a flip flop ankle boots.

Personality: Vex is a deeply sarcastic, gloomy, and nihilistic yordle from the Shadow Isles who embraces misery and hates cheerful, "bright" things. As a personification of apathy and teenage angst, she finds contentment in despair and loathes "normies," spending her time sulking and relying on her sentient shadow. Even though she is gloomy she can be extremely loyal too. She is easily irritated, especially by bright and happy things, and can easily bring down the mood of any creature with her sadness.

Abilities:

• Passive Doom 'n Gloom: Vex is intrinsically linked to the Shadow Isles' Black Mist, which changed her shadow into a moody, protective entity. This passive represents her draining the energy out of "hyperactive" person, causing them to stop and feel her despair.

• Mistral Bolt: Vex fires a wave of black mist that accelerates and narrows, highlighting her focus-driven desire to make things dull and miserable.

• Personal Space: Vex releases a wave of gloom, shielding herself with shadow while damaging nearby enemies. This highlights her desire to be left alone and her apathy toward others.

• Looming Darkness: Her shadow flies to a location, increasing in size and slowing enemies. It symbolizes her bringing down the mood and covering the world in shadows.

• Shadow Surge: Vex launches her shadow to mark a target, allowing her to dash toward them.

Special abilities:

• Yordle Physiology: Vex is a Yordle, a being coming from the Spirit Realm and possesses several abilities natural of her species.

• Immortality: Being spiritual beings, Yordles don't age the same way as normal humans, and they can't normally die.

• Yordle Magic: Just like any Yordle, Vex is capable of performing yordle magic, which she utilizes in tandem with her skills with shadows and darkness. Shadow Manipulation: Vex's shadow is sentient and can help her cast spells.

Backstory: Vex was born and raised in Bandle City, and despite her parents' best efforts, Vex never felt like she belonged. She disliked the city's bright colors and she could never really find her "yordle spirit" or any like-minded friends. She spent most of her time sulking in her room, spending time with her shadow, which she liked because it was dark and never said anything.

Eventually, the Black Mist came to Bandle City. While the other residents of the city fought back against the Mist, Vex was intrigued by it and followed it to its source, the Shadow Isles. Vex loved it, as it was dark, gloomy, and full of dead spirits, which she liked. As she stayed there longer, she noticed that a combination of the Black Mist and her passive yordle magic allowed her An icon representing Vex's Shadow Shadow to gain sentience and also changed her magic, allowing her to cast gloomy and dark spells.

After a time, Vex met An icon representing Viego, making an alliance with him to plunge the world into darkness and gloom. However, soon Vex found out of Viego's real goal: bringing his An icon representing Isolde dead wife back to life. Disgusted by this show of love, Vex left Viego's side to go back to the Bandle City to tell her parents of all she had done and bask in their disapproval. But when her parents told her that they loved her unconditionally, Vex just sighed, told her parents that they were the worst, and left for the Isles once more.

Misc: Shadow is Vex’s sentient, magical shadow that got into life after getting corrupted by the Black Mist of the Shadow Isles. While Vex treats it as a gloomy companion rather than a pet, Shadow is actually a manifestation of her own Yordle spirit magic mixed with shadow energy. It acts as the weapon for her powers, physically lashing out at enemies, often expressing the energetic emotions that the moody Vex tries to hide.
