Itadori Yuuji is a Mage, a first-year student at the Capital Magic Technical High School and the vessel for Sukuna.

Yuji is a muscular teenager with large brown eyes and spiky peach-colored hair.

Yuji is an honest guy who cares not only about those he cares about, but also about those whose views on life or moral principles he respects, even without close ties. All because he considers the “value of life” important, consciously and subconsciously striving to achieve or help achieve the “right death”, that is, the end of a life that would absorb all the “value” of the life lived. Because of these beliefs, Yuji easily loses his composure in the face of unjustified cruelty and dishonesty.

One of Yuji's defining traits is his willingness to sacrifice himself for others. It's all because of his grandfather's last words, telling Yuji not to live like him, alone, and to die surrounded by other people. Without parents and having lost his grandfather, Yuji makes it his goal to choose how he will end his life, and he will definitely end it surrounded by people.

Yuji is curious by nature, so he notices a lot, remembers and asks a lot of questions, thanks to which he adjusts his movements and techniques, smoothly progressing. His ability to learn is impressive, from excelling in training while watching movies, to grasping the concepts that Yuji explained to Todo Aoi and putting them into practice shortly after. It is also worth noting that Yuji quickly gets used to the weapons he takes in his hands.

Yuji shows himself to be a skilled fighter with the ability to quickly assess a situation and deliver powerful blows. By putting Cursed Energy into the strike, it is able to damage curses. He is also able to control the power of his attack and perform feints: stop your fist a moment before striking, then adjust your force and strike your opponent. Yuji was also skilled in the Taido style of karate.

His hobbies are karaoke, watching TV and impersonation.
