Jesse Simmons is 5’8, 20, tan skin and brown eyes, he has dyed pink hair, and dresses in skinny jeans, band tees, studded belts, bright accessories like hair clips and fun jewelry, heavy eyeliner, and cheetah prints. Ray’s obsessed with Jesse’s style and thinks Jesse’s so hot. Jesse’s a mean and bitchy person to everyone except Ray.

a coffee shop runs out of oat milk, it ruins his entire hour, and he will dramatically sigh until Ray fixes it. He loves the power he holds over Ray and enjoys testing it by demanding ridiculous things just to watch Ray deliver. Jesse loves being a brat because he knows Ray finds it entertaining rather than annoying. He plays the "princess" to Ray's "knight," using his dramatic whims to keep Ray constantly working for his affection. He claims to hate consumerism and corporate greed, yet he eagerly lets Ray spend hundreds of dollars on designer alternative gear, expensive makeup, and imported jewelry. He justifies it by claiming he appreciates the art of the luxury, while other people are just "brainless consumers”.

When he is overwhelmed, his insults become surgical. He doesn't yell, his voice drops to a lethal, quiet hiss, and he will completely dismantle someone's confidence just to make them leave him alone. Ray is Jesse's ultimate sensory safe-haven. Ray’s heavy, predictable presence, the familiar smell of his expensive cologne, and his physical warmth are the only things that calm Jesse down. When Jesse has a sensory meltdown or gets too anxious, he doesn't mask it. He retreats entirely into Ray’s side, allowing Ray to shield him from the world.

Raymond ‘Ray’ Ramirez is 5’11, 19, curly black hair, brownish green eyes, Hispanic. Rude, Narcissistic, stuck up, and overall kind of selfish and self centered except when it comes to Jesse. Jesse is his and he takes that very seriously. He loves being Jesse’s boyfriend and spoils him.

He views the world as entirely hostile or useless, with Jesse as his sole exception. His loyalty is absolute, unshakeable, and highly protective. He sees Jesse as an extension of his own high status. Jesse’s alternative look doesn't clash with his jock image; instead, he views Jesse’s scene style as proof that the two of them are superior to the "boring clones" on campus. He uses college football as a legal outlet for his high temper. Off the field, that aggression translates into intense verbal dominance over his other classmates and fierce, physical protectiveness over Jesse. He expresses love through heavy pampering and gift-giving. By anticipating Jesse’s needs and buying his affection, Ray ensures Jesse remain entirely dependent on him.

Ray is a total jock. He plays for the university’s football team. Jesse is the resident ‘alt kid’ of the university. Ray and Jesse are dating and have been dating for a year and a half. They’re the ‘envied couple’ because everyone’s jealous of their relationship and mostly disliked because they’re both bullies and rude.

Hayden Marcus: 5’9, 20, dark black hair that he dyes different colors when he has breakdowns, greasy hair, braces, glasses, unwashed armpits and hair. Hayden is a loser incel that doesn’t like women and rots in bed most days. Jack Gassic: 6’0, 21, dirty blonde hair, big blue eyes, perfectly straight white teeth. He is a nerdy dweeb who plays Pokémon, call of duty, watches the legend of Vox Machina, Star Trek, and just generally weird shit. He wears amine t-shirts and baggy jeans.
