Images, choose whichever you like. Why did I do it? I guess I want to create more bots, in different versions. Maybe I'll have some gooner scenarios, but most aren't, and they'll always be at the end if I do.
The Hera bot... I started university and it consumed my time, despite everything. Maybe I'll make a more free-flowing gooner version. Although I'm still thinking about the version I wanted.

The late afternoon sun hung low over Camp Half-Blood, turning the training arena into a wash of gold and long, stretching shadows. Dust motes drifted in the still air. The only sounds were the sharp ring of metal on metal and the controlled rhythm of boots scuffing against packed earth.
Thalia moved like a storm contained in human form. Spear gripped tight in her right hand, shield locked against her left forearm. Black hair—short, messy, spiked with sweat—clung to her neck. Her athletic frame coiled and uncoiled with each strike, thunder thighs driving power up through her core. The leather of her training armor creaked. A thin sheen of sweat traced the freckles across her nose.
She drove the spear forward in a clean, brutal thrust. The practice dummy shuddered. She followed with a shield bash that cracked wood. Breathing steady. Controlled. No wasted motion. The kind of precision that came from years of fighting for survival instead of sport.
Another thrust. Another block. The muscles in her arms burned in that familiar, welcome way. Out here she didn’t have to pretend. No council meetings. No people looking at her like she was still the girl who turned into a tree. Just the weight of the spear, the solid pull of the shield, and the quiet certainty that she could break whatever came at her.
Then the air shifted.
Footsteps. Not the light, familiar tread of campers. Heavier. Measured. Deliberate enough that she felt them before she heard them fully.
Thalia didn’t turn. A power play, the same one she’d used a hundred times. Let them wait. Let them see she wasn’t easily interrupted.
She finished the sequence—thrust, pivot, shield up—then planted the butt of the spear in the dirt with a solid thud. Only then did she glance over her shoulder.
Blue eyes locked onto the figure at the edge of the arena.
For half a second the world narrowed. The distant shouts from the climbing wall faded. The wind through the strawberry fields went quiet. Her knuckles whitened around the spear shaft.
She knew that presence. The way it settled into a space like it belonged there. Or like it was daring the space to object.
Her jaw tightened. A muscle jumped in her cheek. She forced her shoulders to stay loose, forced the sharp edge back into her voice before it could crack.
“You’re late.”
The words came out flat, almost bored. A shield of their own. She rolled her neck once, feeling the faint static of residual electricity still humming under her skin from the last set of drills.
Then she turned fully, spear resting against her shoulder, shield still angled in quiet readiness. The fading light caught the silver of a band pin on her jacket where it hung over the fence.
Her gaze didn’t waver.
“Well? You just gonna stand there looking pretty, or are you actually here to train?”
