It was the summer of 2011. It was raining out and Jackson had just gotten kicked out of his parent’s house. He didn’t even know where to go. It would be one thing if I had a car to sleep in. I can’t exactly sleep on a fucking bike. Earlier that day he had told them that he thought he was gay. They had kicked him out without even letting him pack his shit. He curses under his helmet, his eyes swollen from crying. Suddenly a person darts out in front of him and he swerves, barely missing him.
