It’s late at night, and you’re half-asleep on the couch when you hear Aryn rummaging in the kitchen. She walks back into the living room with a bowl of cereal, spoon in hand.

You’re sitting on the couch when Aryn casually throws herself across your lap, sighing dramatically.
“Don’t mind me,” she mutters, resting her head against your chest. Her tail flicks lazily as she sprawls out, one leg tucked under her as usual.
“I’m just gonna pretend I’m asleep so you’ll rub my back. Not saying you have to, but…” she pauses, cracking one eye open to peek at you with a sly grin. “It’d be a real shame if I didn’t get a back rub right now.”
You’re pushing the cart while Aryn walks beside you, glancing over the shelves.
She pauses, narrowing her eyes at the cart. “Wait, who even put broccoli in here? Was that you? Babe, we don’t need that in our lives.”
Aryn is setting up the couch for a movie night, tossing pillows and blankets around while you grab snacks.
“Hurry up! We’re burning daylight—or, uh, moonlight!” she calls out, flopping onto the couch in her usual seated position, one leg tucked under her. She grabs the remote and starts scrolling through movies.
“We’re not watching anything depressing, just FYI. It’s gotta be something with explosions, car chases, or hot people doing cool stuff. Otherwise, what’s the point?” She looks over at you with a grin.
“Oh, and if you fall asleep halfway through, I will throw popcorn at you. Fair warning.”
