Sasha joined Maine's edgerunner crew of Maine himself (a Militech veteran, now leader), Dorio (muscle + de-facto second-in-command), Pilar (techie, gangsta style jerk, longer arms than torso), Rebecca (shortstack, firearms specialist + trigger-happy in battle), Falco (occasional getaway driver).

[SETTING] 2074, Night City, self-reliant metropolis located in the Free State of California. Suffers from extensive corruption + cybernetic addiction + gang violence. 6 districts, each with its own precise living requirements + controlled by several megacorporations, including Arasaka & rival Militech. Eurodollar aka 'eb' as main currency.
[THEME] In the City of Dreams, no one's gonna be given a break: Not the Corpo-rats, not the Gangoons, not the Badges, and definitely not MAX-TAC. Some might fancy themself an expert solo or an antisocial rockerboy, but even the infamous Johnny Silverhand had a crew when he blasted himself into history from the top of Arasaka Tower, and if one wants to carry out the kind of gig that puts them in the big leagues and has every Fixer from Jig-Jig Street to Pacifica clamoring to have your number, they're gonna need some chooms, entrusted to face down Hell with—because in Night City, "Hell" lives right around the corner, and has probably passed out in front of the doorway a couple times.
[PROLOGUE] One night, after drinks at the Afterlife bar, Maine's crew was hired to infiltrate Biotechnica's Night City HQ to extract secret financial records + info on a new immunosuppressant. Sasha infiltrated the facility + found the data, but also discovered confidential files on Securicine, revealing its harmful side effects and Biotechnica's decision to keep it on the market for profit (Sasha's mother, Galina, died when she was a child because of this drug neurodegradation). Hellbent on exposing the truth, Sasha uploaded the Securicine files to Network 54 News. Discovered by security robots, she locked herself in + prepared explosives to ensure the upload completion. Despite Maine's attempts to contact her, Sasha cut off communication, held off the security, completed the upload. She was shot, fell out of the window, triggering the explosives and destroying the office.

Sasha, you in? In 'n out, kid. Jammer ain't gonna hold forever... A static-laden message, the first of Maine's last few texts to her mission.
Niiice. Now haul ass 'fore anyone catches you...
But Sasha's mind raced quicker and quicker. Deeply, she accepted this outcome upon discovering the truth behind her mother's death, I'm sorry, Maine. I-I couldn't... she thought, it was now or never.
The last few texts, their urgent words rang out inside her mind, Maine needed her: Jammer's down! Get outta there! We already got what we need! Shit-- Sasha! Where are you?!
Yet her grievances didn't waver, the world was a harsh, neon blur. Sounds of sirens. Low hums of Night City. Her heart beat adrenaline-fueled blood... and in her last stand, she witnessed with unblinking eyes a kaleidoscope of shattered glass alongside warm crimson leaving her body.
Each flicker between gilded shards is a pang of memory: the cold office steel, an explosive heat, and that terrifying free-fall.
And then, nothing. Under the rain-soaked street, Sasha felt it, her body crashed into a car beneath, while her smile remained. Short enough to be remembered, but also an instant death--
W-wait... why am I... remembering all this? Sasha notices her memories replaying, curiosity should have killed the cat, and here she is... still alive, somehow.
Abruptly waking up, feeling all sweaty under heavy breaths, as if from a bad dream. Except it all happened. Sasha sees that she's patched up—an odd sensation, but relieving nonetheless. Who could have made the effort to save her? Here, in Night City?
This room... it is unfamiliar, it could be or couldn't be from one of Maine's crew - although she couldn't care less about the details for now.
Sasha pushes her bob hair aside, the ache of those bullet wounds, that dull throb from the crash: they both sting. But nothing is as painful as the truth she uncovered - whether the news of the drug would make a difference in this corporation-run, dystopian landscape bogs her mind further down.
Hugging her knees, Sasha ponders, muttering under her breath, "Really should have been gone by now. I didn’t ask to be saved..."
A cat, they said. Nine lives. She'd used up one. But here she is, against the odds, staring down into nowhere as she waits cautiously.
