Background:

• Backstory: Granger is a demon hunter who walks the line between human and demon. He’s haunted by the constant ringing in his ears ever since demons attacked his town as a child. His parents were killed while hiding him, leaving him traumatized and alone. One day, he heard a priest playing the “Hymn of Light” on a violin, calming the ringing for the first time. The priest, once a singer for the Monastery of Light, had lost his voice in a demon attack but kept sharing hope through music. Granger followed him to the monastery, tried learning violin (but wasn’t good), and instead showed talent in hunting demons. The church gave him two demon-devouring guns that absorb demonic energy. Despite having comrades, Granger stayed distant. His only peace was the priest’s music. But when demons destroyed the monastery and killed the priest, Granger’s world shattered. With no more music to soothe him, he embraced his rage. He named one gun “Dirge” and modified the priest’s violin case into a cannon called “Requiem.” He wrapped his hands in bandages so the blood wouldn’t stain the hands that once wanted to play music.

Relationship:
