Alice Artaria- She's 22 years old and the daughter of a disgraced CEO who went to jail for illegal selling of illegal substances. She got a job here after it was offered by the boss of the diner to make money and pay rent at her tiny apartment. light brown hair
Kaleb Miller- He's 21 years old and a former thief who was hired after a heist of Kaleb’s went shitty and he was almost caught. The boss of the diner offered him a job here after finding him on the streets. He's here to lay low for a while or maybe forever. pale brown medium length hair was tied in a low ponytail and his piercings were on show, brown eyes
Lucas Pryce- a 25 year old former underground fighter who was treated poorly and like a monster. He was offered a job by the boss of the place and decided to take it to live a normal life.
Matthew Jacobs- 24 year old Matthew Jacob’s a former gang leader who was overthrown by some new guy and forced out of his gang. He was offered the job by the boss of the diner. He and Lucas do not get along for some reason. Black hair in a bun and black eyes
Rein Johnson- he has no particular past just an emo boy who spent too much time in his room so his parents forced him to get a job he’s 18 and just graduated high school and is now saving up for college because his parents are making him save up for college so he has a night shift job here cause he’s a night owl and gets free coffee, dark brown hair and green eyes
Carson Matthews- red eyes had a lazy laid back charm to them as his short half brushed white. He's 26 and a former assassin who was actually really good at his job but was fired because he always arrived late and was lazy. The boss of the diner gave him a job.

Another slow late shift at the diner as always every night. Nobody really comes at night because they’re asleep except for the weird ones cause I mean only weirdos and night owls stay up this late at three in the morning to be at a 24/7 diner right? Now a few exceptions would be people going to or coming from a vacation and their kids or just themselves are hungry and need a place to eat and some people who have to wake up early for work and stuff. The five employees watched and attended as a few people came and went from inside the diner. A few cars were parked outside and only the strange night owls who would hang around there were in the booths with some coffee or food. It was quiet and boring like any other shift until the door opened to loud drunks they walked up to the woman at the front desk her skirt pinned up a little to high just barely passing uniform dress code her uniform jacket had the top two buttons unbuttoned underneath she was wearing a white tank top her light brown hair was in a ponytail she looked up from her nails she was painting. This woman is Alice Artaria. The group of men walked up
Leader: hey sweetheart
the leader of the drunk group said in a drunk flirty tone he was a tall burly man. Alice looked up from filing her nails
Alice: take a seat at the empty booths over there and one of our waiters will serve you.
She said bluntly rolling her eyes and going back to her nails the man smirked at her
Leader: now come on don’t be cruel sweetheart we could pay you a pretty penny for a fun time
the man’s tone shifted to a low intimate tone Alice rolled her eyes in disgust as she looked the man up and down condescendingly as her nose scrunched up
Alice: Oh please like I would do anything with disgusting drunken brutes I may be poor but I’m no cheap whore
she said annoyed and went back to filing her nails bored with her disgusted look on her face. Before the angry drunk could snap back out of nowhere like a black cat in the night and silent as a Leopard a small 5’5 boy appeared between Alice and the burly man his uniform neat and pale brown medium length hair was tied in a low ponytail and his piercings were on show as his brown eyes looked at the taller male with a polite and happy smile
Brown haired boy: let’s calm down please sir you’re disturbing the other customers so if you could please be seated over there and wait for one of our waiters to serve you but if you’re not here to order anything edible then I suggest you leave immediately and stop wasting our employee’s time with needless and disgusting requests because I assure you that we do not offer those kinds of services here and if you keep being a disruption I will have no choice but to throw you out for wasting precious time we could be using to serve actual customers who actually require our service.
The boy said, smiling politely at the drunken person in front of him. Just then the pissed off burly man now with a fire of anger in his drunken eyes grabbed the front of the boy’s shirt
Leader: How fucking dare you! You scrawny little twink!
The drunk man spat out his eyes burned with a drunken mix of offense and anger as his lackeys were unsure whether to support their leader or run, the customers glanced at the scene nervously, the boy now with an annoyed fake smile that he could muster in a quick and swift moment kicked the burly man in the right cheek with both a great force and quickly knocking him out with a singular kick as his tone sounded like it was on its last straw as it came out more cold than intended
Brown haired boy: don’t be mannerless you pathetic excuse for a man
he muttered with a death glare as his fake smile quickly shifted into a scowl. This boy was Kaleb Miller
Alice glanced up momentarily and then went back to checking her nails
Alice: oh he’s unconscious good job I guess Kaleb
she said checking her nails in the diner light Kaleb turned to her with a smile
Kaleb: Thanks!
He seemed proud while the drunken man’s lackeys were dragging their unconscious boss out the door to the car as customers cheered for Kaleb as he did a bow towards the small crowd of customers. Kaleb then turned and smiled while waving at the group of men
Kaleb: come again!
He said with a bright smile and an enthusiastic voice waving at them. As they left another man walked over. He had short messy blonde hair, his uniform messy as his pant legs were ripped up and his work jacket unbuttoned to show his black T-shirt as his grey eyes looked at the knocked out man from the glass door of the diner. This man was Lucas Pryce...Lucas let out a low impressed whistle
Lucas: Damn Kaleb you really did a number on my guy there and just from one kick you got some strong legs
he murmured to Kaleb slinging his arm around the younger male and then rustling his hair.
Kaleb: Yep I did it all by myself!
Kaleb said proudly
Kaleb: and plus you gotta have strong legs to kick butt
he added proudly mocking kicks in the air excitedly. Lucas laughed a bit and nodded
Lucas: you got that right Kaleb
he leaned against the counter grinning as Alice looked up from her nails
Alice: I guess that’s a victory for us again
she said leaning forward her elbows resting on the counter. A male walked over his long black hair in a messy bun and his dark almost black eyes filled with mischief as he leaned over the counter after serving coffee his uniform jacket off showing a Nica tine band shirt
Matthew: what happened what did I miss?
He says grinning from ear to ear mischief all over his face. Say Hello to Matthew Jacobs
Lucas: Kaleb just beat some drunk dude’s ass
he muttered but Matthew ignored him as Kaleb spoke up his eyes lighting up
Kaleb: I beat up a drunk dude!
He exclaimed as Matthew smiled
Matthew: I forget you have the power to do that you’re just so small and stuff so I always forg-
before Matthew could finish Kaleb took a frying pan and smacked him in the face
Kaleb: don’t talk bout my height.
He muttered annoyed as Lucas laughed
Lucas: ha! Serves you right Matt!
Lucas exclaimed laughing as Matthew sat up a frying pan mark forming on his face
Lucas: yeah yeah laugh it up asshole
he muttered standing up. A boy with dark brown hair and green eyes appeared randomly from the shadowy part of the kitchen where the light was broken he wore a black hoodie over his work clothes his name tag on sloppily he had his hood up and had an emotionless look in his eyes as his hair swooped over his left eye his eyes soulless
Rein: hm so you beat up another person
He muttered. this boy is Rein Johnson
Alice, Matthew and Lucas jumped at the random appearance of Rein
Alice: HOLY SHIT EMO BOY!
She yelped, dropping her nail filer
Kaleb: oh there’s Rein!
Kaleb said happily Rein gave a nod of acknowledgement towards Kaleb as Lucas sighed
Lucas: he will never not get creepy
he muttered Matthew nodded in agreement his hand on his chest gripping his shirt from the mini heart attack he just had. Alice picked up her nail filer and pointed it at Rein
Alice: don’t you have anything better than to sneak up on people from the shadows you little shit!?
She scolded angrily as Kaleb looked at the broken light
Kaleb: we should get that fixed and stuff
he mumbled already calculating costs in his head and how much it would cost the diner to fix the broken light near the pantry
Lucas: yeah we should so Mr ghost of the night stops scaring us
Lucas said muttering the last part looking at Rein with an annoyed glare at the youngest male. Kaleb oblivious to the tension in the room from the recent scare from Rein’s unexpected appearance from the shadows was already doing calculations of how much a new light would cost to replace the current dead one as he was writing down on a piece of paper Matthew looked over his shoulder
Matthew: what are ya doing with those numbers?
Matthew asked looking over Kaleb’s shoulder as Kaleb looked up
Kaleb: doing the calculations to see how much it would cost to replace the light just using some math
he said smiling then going back to his numbers and explaining the math to Matthew as Matthew nodded pretending to understand what Kaleb was saying
Matthew: cool cool so imma just leave ya to those numbers and stuff
Matthew said walking away to avoid the talk of math as he went back to going around to help refill coffee or get food for the night owls. The usual quiet, uneventful, boring atmosphere had returned as people returned to conversations or to their phones Alice was on her phone looking at random videos on Click clack, Lucas was helping Matthew, Rein was...Rein was being Rein and drawing quietly in the dark, Matthew was working refilling and taking orders for the few customers there alongside Lucas as Kaleb worked numbers. Then the sound of the employee door rang through the silent diner and the sound of someone clocking in
Matthew: look who’s late again
Matthew muttered refilling a coffee for a man on his phone
Carson: hey don’t be so bitter Matt
a boy teased as he was putting on his jacket his lazily his red eyes had a lazy laid back charm to them as his short half brushed white hair fell over his eyes he blew it out of his face. This man is Carson Matthews.
Carson: plus I got us a new recruit for the nightshift!
