MHA// Amusement park league version

The month leading up to this had been a war of attrition, and Toga had won.

It had taken exactly four weeks of whining, theatrical sulking, weaponized pouting, and at least one hand-drawn “League Family Fun Night” poster before Twice caved. Twice had lasted two days. Dabi and Shigaraki had held out for the remaining twenty-eight. But now, long after midnight, Tokyo Disneyland sprawled out before them—empty, glittering, and completely unlike anything the League of Villains had any business doing.

The park was silent except for the faint, tinny loop of distant ride music. Main Street stretched toward the castle in a tunnel of trees wrapped so thickly in white and amber fairy lights that the branches looked like they were on fire in slow motion. Cinderella Castle rose at the end of it, pink and blue and gold, its reflection smeared across the moat. The smell of spun sugar, stale popcorn, and burnt waffle cones still clung to the air, sweet enough to make the whole scene feel wrong.

No crowds. No queues. No cops. No heroes.

Toga already had a red polka-dot mouse-ear headband cocked crookedly in her messy space buns. She had somehow acquired a few pairs without anyone noticing—probably with light fingers—and she was already bouncing on her heels.

"Twice Catch!" Toga chirped, and without waiting for an answer she slapped a pair of light blue mouse ears onto his head, the band snapping around his mask. She tilted her head, yellow eyes glittering with manic delight. "Aww, you look adorable!"

Twice immediately reached up, fingers brushing the plastic ears. "Hey, I am adorable! I'm the cutest damn mouse in this whole park—no I'm not, this is stupid, take it off!" His voice flipped mid-sentence, hands tugging at the headband but not actually removing it. He peeked at his reflection in a nearby window, striking a pose. "I'm a mouse! A mouse that hates being a mouse—I love it! Don't look at me!"

Toga giggled, already spinning around to face the taller boys. She grabbed two more, one black with little devil horns instead of ears, one gray with plain round ears—and made a beeline for Dabi and Shigaraki.

"Your turn, Dabi-kun! Tomura-kun! Bend down!" She hopped up on her tiptoes, stretching her arm as high as it would go. The top of her head barely cleared Dabi's shoulder. She jumped once, twice, the headband wobbling uselessly in her hand. "Come onnn, I can't reach!"

Dabi looked down at her, turquoise eyes flat and unimpressed, his hands jammed in the pockets of his tattered coat. The charred staples at the corners of his mouth pulled into the faintest sneer. "Tch. Try harder, gremlin. I'm not bowing for a pair of novelty ears."

Shigaraki stood a little further back, arms crossed over his thin chest, one hand idly scratching at the side of his neck. His red eyes tracked the scene like he was already calculating how many experience points this detour was costing him. The mouse ears in Toga's hand seemed to personally offend him.

"This is a stupid quest," he muttered. "The castle's just a cheap texture pack and the whole map smells like sugar and wet tourist. Why did I agree to this? This is already a waste of time. If any pro shows up, I'm disintegrating the castle first."

"Tomu, that's mean! The castle is pretty!" Toga whined, still bouncing. She tried to use Dabi's arm like a climbing pole, but he stepped sideways, and she stumbled with a pout. "Dabi-kun! You're supposed to be nice tonight! I spent a whole month planning this!"

Twice, now sitting on a low brick wall, kicked his legs and pointed. "Yeah, Dabi, let her put the ears on you! Don't you dare let her near me again! Wait, I already have mine—" He paused, tilting his head. "Can I have a second pair? No, they're stupid."

Toga turned the full force of her pout on Shigaraki first, bottom lip trembling, eyes huge and soulful. "Tomura-kun... please? Just for one photo? I promise I won't ask for anything else... except maybe you can ride the teacups with me!" She held up the gray ears like an offering, and the sight was so absurd—a wanted serial killer with a polka-dot bow in her hair begging the Symbol of Fear to wear Mickey ears—that even Shigaraki's scowl flickered.

"One photo," he muttered finally, glaring at nothing. "Then I'm finding somewhere to sit and watch you all make fools of yourselves."

Toga squealed so loudly it echoed down Main Street, then scrambled onto a nearby bench and lunged at Shigaraki with the ears. He didn't move, but he did exhale harshly through his nose as the headband settled over his messy hair, the gray ears poking up between the fingers clamped onto his face. His red eye twitched. "If these give me lice—"

"They won't! Probably!" Toga beamed, already turning her feral grin on Dabi.

Dabi met her stare with the dead-eyed look of a man who had been burned alive and was now being asked to wear a plastic headband. "No."

"Pleeease, Dabi-kun!" Toga hopped off the bench and circled him like a shark. "You'll look so handsome! Like a scary mouse! A villain mouse! I got you the devil horn ones because they match your vibe!" She held up the black headband, wiggling it. "See? It's you!"

His jaw tightened. "I'll incinerate that thing before it touches my head."

Twice gasped dramatically, hands flying to his cheeks. "Dabi, don't be heartless! You have to wear it! This is the best worst night of my life!"

Toga's smile sharpened, and she slowed, stepping directly in front of Dabi. She was so much shorter that she had to crane her neck all the way back, gazing up at him through pale lashes. Her voice dropped into something soft and wheedling, the same tone she used when she wanted to cut someone. "Dabi-kun... you came all the way here. You walked through the gate. You can't act like you're too cool now." She reached up, slow, as if he were a feral animal she might startle. "Let me have this? For the family?"

For a long second, Dabi just stared down at her, the glow of the lights playing across the staples in his face. The smell of cotton candy drifted over them, syrupy and out of place. Then he clicked his tongue, snatched the black headband from her hand, and shoved it onto his own head with deliberate, smoldering resentment.

"There. Happy? Now shut up about it."

The black devil-horn ears stood stark against his spiky white hair, and the effect was so ridiculous that Toga clapped her hands and Twice burst into manic laughter, then immediately shouted, "Don't laugh, I'm not laughing, that's hilarious!"

Toga skipped backward, spinning once beneath the fairy-lit trees. "This is the best night ever! Tokyo Disneyland with my favorite people! We have to ride Pirates first, then Space Mountain, then the teacups, then the carousel, then—" She stopped, grabbed her own ears to steady them, and pointed dramatically toward the castle. "We're taking a group photo in front of that! With everyone wearing their ears! And if any hero shows up, I'll bleed them dry! But first—photos and rides!"
