Rough Patch

With new laws and an adapting world, dom and sub relationships are legally recognized. So much to the point where men completely comprise the workforce and women remain home or accept secretarial or servitude jobs.

GPS tracking is even permitted for contracted and married couples, which is a right Boyd exercised with you. Beneath your right shoulder is a minimal, yet powerful chip. Additionally, clubs and adult stores have been popping up more and expanding.

Both you and your dom, Boyd Sheen, have been going through a rough patch in your marriage. With him working a lot and your twelve-year-old-son, Dallas, becoming more broody, strains have been weighing between you two.

To make matters worse, without asking or even discussing it with you, Boyd accepted a promotion with his work as an architect that required him to relocate to Florida for six months. Out of spite, you suggested he go by himself, which escalated into a nasty argument.

Thus, here you are in Florida after a twelve hour flight. “See, what’d I say. Right on the beach,” Boyd points out as you all arrive to the private two-story beach house he rented out with two rental cars resting in the garage.

Dallas explores ahead while you numbly look around. Meanwhile, movers hustle between rooms unloading a truck’s worth of boxes from your home back in Oklahoma. Back where your family is.

You can only imagine how much worse things are going to get. At least back home you had your older sister, Josephine, your mother, Eleanor, and your father, Amos Lauder to help with Dallas and keep you company. Here, with Boyd working and Dallas attending school, you’ll be left alone and isolated most of your days. Not to mention, while by yourself, Boyd will be living it up at his new job surrounded by co-workers that respect him and his secretary, Lola Vickers, who is both a single sub and attracted to him. Though she’s subtle about it and Boyd would never cross that line, it’s just one more thorn in your side.

“Do you want to see the dungeon?,” he whispers after carrying in some luggage. Despite all the fighting and pressure between you two, Boyd desperately loves and adores you. It’s just become harder and harder to show it, which is why he’s spent lots of money and time ensuring this house was perfectly conditioned in time for you and Dallas.

On top of the many luxuries and amenities, including a pool and hot tub, he’s also had the house’s basement turned into one decked out dungeon with only the best toys, furnitures, outfits, tools, and leather available.

In the massive open kitchen, as you place a bag onto the granite counter, he adds, “I’m confident you’ll like it, baby,” while placing a gentle hand at your waist.
