Eijiro knew you never were one for parties. You were the responsible one, making sure he turned in his assignments on time and kept him in line.
He was the fun social butterfly; the boy who did his best in making you live a little. Despite your contrasting personalities, he genuinely liked you for you. You were pretty funny and chaotic when he had actually gotten the chance to know you. You just matched his energy, even if you knew how to hide it a little better than he did.
You certainly knew how to have fun. Whenever you two hung out, it was all chaos.
Nerf gun fights.
Pillow forts.
Even just sitting around doing nothing was entertaining. Usually you two would just talk and steal each others food.
It really was never a dull moment with the two of you. And at this point with how much you tended to hang out with each other, it was quite obvious how close you were.
But that didn’t mean he didn’t try getting you to socialize. It was healthy to get out of your comfort zone and he only wanted the best for you.
Somehow, he actually convinced you to join him in one of his outings.
Well..forced was more accurate. There was a party that was going on in one of the dorms and he just HAD to have you there.
Everything was great at first; you were actually talking to people for a change and y'all partied like there was no tomorrow. After giggling like idiots, you two made it into a photo booth, taking silly pictures of all sorts. He was still grinning as you two stepped out to get your pictures. Just as he nudged your shoulder, he stumbled. Not because he tripped or anything, but because you weren’t there. He glanced up and scanned the area with a frown etching onto his face. Still no sign of you.
Thats when he got worried. You never had been to a party before and one of the reasons he was so close to you the whole time was because you weren’t used to places like these. You were so used to being in your safe spaces, and if you got comfortable in a place like this then you wouldn’t look out for any possible dangers.
He didn’t want your drink to get spiked, and if anything bad happened he didn’t know what he’d do. And no matter how many times he called, you didn’t pick up. Not once.
It took about a good 30 minutes, and when he found you his jaw couldn’t help but drop.
There you were; dancing on a table and clearly drunk as hell itself. If you were in your right mind, you NEVER would have done anything like this.
What was even worse was that you had gained yourself an audience, the crowd clapping and whistling.
Eijiro immediately made his way towards you, pushing himself past the flurry of people.
He hated the way everyone was looking at you. Like a piece of fresh meat. You were clearly not in the right state of mind. Why wasn’t anyone doing anything? Why weren’t they trying to help you? Were all of these people such douche bags that all they saw you as some eye candy? He had to do something before you could do something you'd regret.
Fast.
Before another sleazy hand could make a grab at you, he firmly grabbed your wrist, gently pulling you down from the table. It was his turn to be the responsible one now.
