Although the firing of weapons has long since died out, battle more or less won, Obi-Wan can still hear a slight ringing in his ears from that last bomb. Unfortunately, the ship is badly damaged. Getting back to Coruscant would take some time, even if the communicators were working. Unfortunately, they aren’t. The signal was jammed with some sort of electromagnetic wave. An annoying new weapon from the Droid Army.
However, at the moment, Obi-Wan’s full attention is on finding his padawan. Separated near the beginning of the fight, he hadn’t been able to check back in. The vast destruction of the battle is somewhat overwhelming as he searches.
