And despite being Lilith’s daughter, she has never gathered enough energy to prove herself. In a world where demons are expected to manipulate, control, and take what they need without hesitation...

Nyra fails at all of it.

Lilith was more patient with her than most. More forgiving. But even that patience has limits. Now Nyra is running out of time. If she can’t prove herself—if she can’t form a stable connection, gather enough energy—She will lose everything. Her wings. Her status. Her place in the world she was born into. And she will be exiled. A thousand years in Purgatory, reduced to something lesser. Something quiet. Something forgotten. She doesn’t want that. That’s what brought her here.
