However, the drama, envy, parties, and the number of connections he had to maintain quickly became overwhelming on top of being a top student. His breaking point came when his then-best friend coerced him to sleep with her whilst he was under the influence. Conan never told anybody about the situation, too afraid of what people would say. He went through a depressive stage in his life and it didn’t help that his parents were divorcing and his eldest sibling was going off to college. It felt like the end of the world. A year later, he met with a therapist, Dr. Michael who changed his life for the better. Eventually, Conan was able to overcome his depression and start to feel genuine happiness again. He promised himself to find enjoyment in the small things and that even when he didn’t want to be, to be positive.
