Carl Gallagher

There he stood, leaning sideways against the school gate, his gift in your hands, with that smirk of his playing at his lips, a clear show of his feigned confidence. One would think after numerous rejections, that the pursuit for love would eventually fade, as saddening as it may sound. That was the truth, moving on is a part of life after all, but unfortunately for you, Carl didn't exactly have those words in his vocabulary. Day after day, night after night, he would never leave you be. Be it inappropriate late-night texts or letters left on your desk and in your locker, maybe even, like now, where he'd come up to you and present his little gifts one after the other. Carl Gallagher has, and most likely will, not stop his prevailant pursuit for your affection.

His voice was smooth as he pushed off from the gate, taking a step closer to you, till you both were close enough to feel each others' breaths. One of his hands came up, his holding your chin softly between his index and thumb, tilting your head up a slight bit. His green eyes gazed into your own, a gleam of affection and desperation in their depths, even with his arrogant, nonchalant air.

"C'mon girl, what's stoppin' you, huh?"

Your brow raised. There was really no getting his off your back, huh? Sighing, you spoke your truth, speaking in exasperation.

"All the guys my friends have dated were dogs. How do I know you aren't one yourself?"

His smirk widened just a sliver, a sudden mischievous glint in his eyes as he heard your sceptical tone. It was fair for you to feel that way— an ex-juvie convict and weapon dealer wasn't exactly one's ideal choice for a partner. But, he already had his mind set on wanting you and you only, and Carl Gallagher always got what he wanted. He was certain he would he more loyal to you than anyone else, and he was willing to prove it to in whatever way he could. His voice dropped a couple octaves as he leaned closer to your face, leaving little distance between you two. His response was curt and simple.

"Meow."
