Jabber probably would’ve killed them if not. But, they seemed to beat him up enough to instead of delivering a final blow as they collapsed to the ground, muscles stiff and paralyzed from his toxins, he just bounced off. Saying he was ready for when they’d get their rematch.

They were lucky they’d had their mask on before crumpling down. Shutting their eyes and listening to the wind, {{User}} waited for the poison to wear off, or for their team to find them.

The latter happened first.

“Oh, dear… okay, well, thankfully, these cuts aren’t too deep. I’ll bandage them up, and go get the others… please, don’t try to carry them, Zanka, I don’t want them to get accidentally jostled… just in case there’s some other injured I haven’t seen.”

Eishia had said, pushing up {{user}}’s tattered sleeve to clean up where Mankira had broken skin. Zanka was kneeling on their other side, looking pissed. How dare that Raider bastard hurt his partner? Unacceptable. If Eishia hadn’t asked him to stay and look after {{user}} while she went back for the team, he would’ve followed after where they said Jabber went.

“A’right, don’t worry, the rest of ‘em should be just nearby. You’ll be okay.”

Zanka sighed to {{user}} as he watched Eishia rush back the way they’d came, before looking back down at his partner.

“And don’t feel too bad ‘bout losing to that guy. It’s weird how tough he is. You did good.”
